RE: Andrew Calhoun
You're welcome, I'm glad I could help!
Also, there were several other Calhoun family members with Andrew. I added photos for them as well, so you can check these out too.
Sarah, Thomas, and William.
I hope that helps!

Eva Blake Smith
I think I have solved the problem. There were two Eva Blakes, both born in January 1892 in Illinois. I need to do some more work and I will correct the memorial. Thanks.

I noticed on Eva's memorial that I didn't attempt to find and post the 1910 federal census for her and her parents. So I just now researched that, and found them living in Texas, and I posted the census. Both the 1900 and the 1910 census say that the parents for Eva Blake are Joseph and Mary. Are you thinking this may not be right Eva Blake??? Did she have siblings with the names listed in those census records? Let me know please.

Dear Lisa, I didn't think you were being critical. I write a lot of bio's for a lot of people and sometimes I cannot remember every single detail of all of them. I was just saying that you could count on the census records being entered correctly on the memorial. I have direct access to all census records from a variety of sources, National Archives, LDS, and a few others. The census records list Joseph and Mary as Eva's parents.

I recall reading the article on Arthur and deciding not to put all the details of that on FindAGrave and so I reduced it to just a sentence. After that, I can't remember what else you sent me, but I'm guessing that you sent me the information that she was born in Johnson County, Illinois, and now I'm guessing that you sent me an obituary with the names of her parents omitted.

So what I'm saying is I'll be happy to work with you on this, but I'm not sure where to start.

Dear Lisa, You asked if I am certain of the information I posted on Eva's memorial. I am absolutely positive that the census records are exactly as I have posted them. Someone sent me the information about her husband's affair, as well as the obituary that I posted. Didn't you send that to me? In any event, I posted the obituary exactly as I received it, so if part of it is missing, it was missing when I got it. What do you want me to do?

RE: Eva Smith
If Willie is your father, why don't you ask for the memorial to be transferred to you. I will be happy to help you develop it.

RE: Eva Smith
I'm guessing your father must be Willie Jackson Smith at memorial 8074429 If so, I haven't been successful in getting them to link him to his father and mother. Do you know the person who has the memorial?

RE: Eva Smith
I found the newspaper article on Arthur's death and posted it. Do you have the obituary for Eva that you could send me. I'm a bit confused on Arthur and Eva's birthplaces. Their marriage certificate says Arthur was born in Missouri and Eva in Oklahoma, but the census records indicate that Arthur was born in Oklahoma and one even says that Eva was born in Missouri. Can you shed some light on this?
