RE: Martha Runyan Clay memorial
Hi Sheila,
I am about a year late answering you. I finally will be retiring from teaching this week. I have also commuted over 1,000,000 miles. By the time I get home, I haven't much time.

I have DNA on my uncle, Frederick Bell, son of Henderson Bell and Ona Hazel Craddock. His father, Ballard Bell was married to Rhoda Jane White in Logan, WV. His father was John Bell that married Martha Jane Belcher in Mercer, WV. HER father was John "Jesse" Belcher and Jane "Jincy" Nuckolls in Tazewell, VA.

RE: Shinn
You will have to give me the memorial number so I can view it. Or are you asking about a tree on Ancestry?

Hi Sheila,

I just sent you a message on Ancestry and thought I would just say "Hi" here to make it easier for you to find me.

Best regards,
Debbie

Hi,
I'm sorry. Being a female, my DNA profile does not go back that far. I have 1 uncle in Florida that is still alive. I did do a Bell Family DNA test on my uncle Frederick Bell before he passed a few years ago. I wish I could help.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Bell

RE: Sidney Akin
The Sidney Akin in my tree was born in Alabama, and was married two of my 3rd great Aunts, they all pretty much migrated to Oklahoma. Please re-check your Sidney Akin/Akins. There was a Sidney Akin that was born in Tennessee

After getting the "edits" and reading your bio I am assuming that you are related, so I am sending on the pair to you.

There is a headstone...very old... that has an epitaph saying: Killed in Cold Blood in this cemetery. It's the older of two cemeteries located on Overlook drive on Pea Ridge. If anyone knows this headstone , could they please post a picture or send me a pic. Thanks, Denise Jennings Nicholas.

I went back to the cemetery and found the spot. I hope the pictures are adequate. One metal marker had a stamped metal plate in it but was unreadable and the other the name plate was gone. The location is close to the Old Path Mission. If you turn around and face the road, the Mission is just to your left.
