I've been compiling family history for many years. I am willing to help with Adams County, Nebraska research problems as my time permits.
I have four children, two living, two deceased; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

I am always willing to transfer memorials.

Hi Catherine, When you have time could you please correct the death date of my grandfather to 5 March instead of 1 March? I have both the death certificate and the funeral home record with the 5 March date. Thanks so much. Janice Haynes

RE: John Milton White
Hi, I received his info from another family member and now I can't find the actual email for it.

That's why I have to organize my files!! lol

At least two of his children Mary and Jane are buried in Webster County, Nebraska.

The family moved from Illinois to Nebraska around the early 1880s.

I don't really have much to go on for him (John) that's why I was hoping you might be able to find something.

Thank for looking for him. I appreciate the help.

Have a great day!

Memorial Transfer
HI Catherine,
First of all, thank you adding and preserving all these memorials---the shear # is quite impressive! I am hoping you will transfer memorial #137129279 , Josiah Raub, to me. He is my second great-grandfather. I can fill in the missing vital details. Also, I would appreciate the transfer of his wife, Fredricka Raub # 137129253. She was his third wife, an immigrant from Germany.

I would be interested also in contacting the cemetery sexton if you have the contact info. Josiah served in the Civil War (Union) and I am not sure if that is known to the sexton. I see that both of their graves are unmarked. :(

Thank you,
Arlene Renee Carr (#48090538)

John Milton White
Hi, I was just wondering if it would be possible to ask you if you could locate an obituary for me?

I am looking for the obituary of my ancestor John Milton White.

His dates are July 15, 1820-February 1899

He was buried in the Saxour Cemetery, Adams County, Nebraska

I have pretty much hit a brick wall with obtaining information on him. If there is anything in that county on him maybe I can figure out some of the blanks on his life.

Thank you for any help you can give me on him or his family.

Have a great day!

RE: Pennington, Lewis
Lewis married Carrie Grace Etter from Hastings they had two children, one of which is buried there too Ethel Pennington Moran, they also had son Ralph Pennington. Carrie married several times after Lewis 's death. Unfortunately Ethel and Ralph ended up in orphanage called Moms Jewels. Eventually I found them with Carrie at different times as adults Thanks for checking his birth date. I wouldn't have known what happened except someone else traced Ethel back.
