Billy Triplett
I am going to stop by Mt. Zion on my way to work this afternoon and see if I can find his stone.

Pleasant Plains Cemetery
Just a note, I placed this statement on your photo requests today for your Pleasant Plains memorials
This must be an unmarked burial site. This cemetery was walked earlier this year by a Find A Grave volunteer. I also walked the cemetery today and then visited the church office. The church representative reviewed burial registry. This person was not listed, though there are many older grave sites that are listed in the record book unknown.

Roger Jack Triplett, 74, of Lenoir, N,C., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Triplett was born in Watauga County to the late Clyde and Edna Wheeler Triplett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lora Lucille Triplett Triplett.

Survivors include one son, Roger D. Triplett and wife Penny, of Lenoir; two grandchildren, Chad Triplett and wife, Gina, and their children, Madden and Jaci, and Deanna Martinat and husband, Ernest, and their daughter, Kaylyn; and three sisters, Alaine Watson, Clidia Griffies and husband, Charles, and Linda Stewart and husband, Jimmy, all of Lenoir.

The service will be held Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Broyhill and the Rev. Joel Bixler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family received friends Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, from 6 pm until 8 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home in Lenoir.

Pallbearers were Randy Stewart, Mark Pennell, Jonathan Pennell, Matthew Griffies, Edward Anders and Lloyd Cornett.
Thinking he is buried in Lenoir not Gastonia best way to find out is call the Funeral Home and make sure The Gastonia Church has no Cemetery
