|My name is Keisha, and I recently started compiling my family history. In my search I have found, to my dismay, that finding some of the records that I need is very difficult. There is alot of my family from Oklahoma, and I have found it very difficult to find birth, marriage, and death records for the area. The headstone photos that I have found have helped me confirm information that I had not been able to do so without them. I had also been thinking that a resource like this would be great and was thinking about how to go about starting it. Now I don't have to start it, but I can contribute to it.|

There is a dual headstone on Malcolm's grave that has his name along with a woman's name (I assume it's his wife), but there is no death date under her name so she is most likely still living and that is the reason I did not add that photo. I wasn't sure what the rules were on that. I added a photo of the gravestone that is at the foot of his grave. It's a military headstone. If I found out that I am allowed to add a photo of the dual headstone I will add that as well.
|Jim Sager||RE: James Broadway|
I spent several hours searching the New Garden Cemetery, located near Elkmont, Alabama, last week for the grave of James Broadway, among others. I did not find a grave marker of any kind that bore his name. There are a number of graves in that particular cemetery that obviously hold the remains of infants, but that are not legibly marked. Some are marked simply with a slab of common limestone, but those are most likely of an older era. I'm sorry I could not find the grave you are searching for, but if I can be of further assistance in the north Alabama area, please let me know.
|Kim Poyner Woodhouse||Resthaven Cemetery Photo Request|
You made a photo request on Find A Grave in Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City. This cemetery is ENORMOUS, so to get a photo a plot location is needed. Please contact the funeral home: email@example.com
The funeral home charges non-family members (office walk-ins - like me)to do plot location lookups, so please mention your relationship. When you have the plot number, add it in the PLOT box (if you own the memorial). If you don't own the memorial, send me an email with the information.

While at the Dugway Cemetery to take photos of other headstones, I decided to look in Margaret's headstone. I think that who ever listed her memorial got a little confused. She was married April 23, 1936 not her deceased date of Mar 23, 1936. I've posted the photo. If you feel that it is incorrect please let me know and I'll remove them. Betty Jane

You are most welcome. I know that it means a lot to you. Please know that we enjoyed very much getting out to do this. It was a blessing for us.

I photographed the entire Monroe Cemetery. There is only one Monroe Cemetery in this area. There were about 5 unmarked/unreadable headstones in the oldest part of the cemetery. Do you know when the Selfs' passed that you are looking for and maybe I can help you locate them?
thanks for the transfer.

I am working on logging the entire Monroe Oklahoma cemetery. I have found several individuals for the "Self" family and have posted them. In the next 4 to 5 days I hope to have the entire cemetery completed, I am keeping an eye out for your family!
