|Sheila S||Herman Heinrich Suek|
I see that you created the Find A Grave Memorial# 67087467 for Herman Heinrich Suek. What a great job you have done on this memorial! I was wondering if you know why Herman's surname is Suek, when his father's last name is Schlichtmann? Johann Bernard Schlichtmann married Gertrud Suek on 5 May 1835 in Heek, Westfalen, Preußen, Germany which was before the time of Herman's birth of 29 Sep 1842.
I believe that Gertrud Suek was sister of Anna Maria Clara Suek, daughter of Wilhelm Suek & Elisabeth Hoerstmann. At the Family Search website Gertrud, Catharina, & Anna Maria Clara Suek are listed as daughters of Wilhelm Suek & Elisabeth Hoerstmann. Wilhelm Suek & Elisabeth Hoerstmann are my third great grandparents.
Any information is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Sheila S # 47827553

|Laura Quast Benson||Knoll Genealogy|
I am a descendant of William Knoll's mother (Susanna Knoll Fliegner nee Littschke) through a half sibling (Ernestine). I have record that William Knoll's father was Johann Christoph Knoll, who died in Prussia.
Thank you for the Knoll family documentation.
I don't know if they are related. I was thinking they might be. I got his death record, but haven't had time to check out if there is any relation. Do you know why Henry's last name on head stone is spelled with 2 n's and his wife's is not?

I beleve you can link Caroline Boyer (70923271)to her father Herman Find A Grave Memorial 71211564. We do not know where Herman's wife Catharina is buried. Feel free to use my personal email to share more information.
|Quincy Stroeing||Limperich Family|
Dr. Limperich is buried next to Mortiz & Mary Hoeschoen. Based on your info, Ill assume that is his father/mother-in-law.
You have Julia's record (#47359001) in St. Mary's but per the church records, she isn't buried there. Dr. Arthur is the only Limperich in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The Limperichs lived 1 block from where I grew up. It was the mother (Julia) and son (Louie) that lived together. Louie had a long grey ponytail....as a kid in small town in the 1960/70s, I thought that was very cool. Their house stands empty from what I can see. Not sure where they went but likely Julia is buried there, but not in Melrose.
