Don Sharp
Hi Joyce,
I noticed your name and was curious about a possible connection. My grandfather's sister was Delphia Sharp and she married Lewis Preston Rowe. Any connection?

Scott family

There is alot on how the Scott family migrated from the South Carolina Catawbas into Georgia and traveled into Alabama and Florida....alot of the Poarch Creek band of muscogee is the Scott family (they are in Alabama).

I have the website:

also have the facebook group:

In 1830 there was well over 225 Cherokee living in Carroll county, Ga (on border of Alabama).

Among the families named was Rowe.

If you look at the Cherokee Emigration records you'll find alot of the Rowe family from Georgia

Pike Family Cemetery
Joyce, I am helping a friend with her family tree and she has relatives in the Pike Family Cemetery. I wanted to find out the location so she could visit the cemetery. I saw that you are a life long resident of Roanoke and hoped you could help me out. Thanks for any help you can give.

I added the info you have in your flowers section if you'd like to delete that. Then you will have room to write something personal about the family.

If you'd like me to add the Bio that you placed on his memorial page, I'd be happy to. Click the Edit button on the top right of the page and send me an email with the info. Is he related to you?
