|Russ Pickett||Henry Meyer|
Hi, You added a photo for the above and it is not his headstone. He is on the tablets of the missing.
Can you please remove it and place it on the right record. :-) Thanks my friend.

Ok Wonderful - thank you.
|Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland||Pvt Arthur Buskirk|
Pvt Arthur Buskirk was a soldier in the 26th Infantry Division of the famos 1st Infantry Division. His unit stormed the beaches of Gela in Sicily during 10 July 1943 (operation Husky). he was severely wounded in Sicily and was evacuated to North Africa.
Sadly he died of sustained wounds on 13 July 1943 and was buried in the temporary America El Alia Cemetery in Tunisia. Private Buskirk was buried in grave 6-9-172.
After the war - on request of the next of kin - he was reburied in grave A-11-6 in the North African Cemetery in Tunisia, where he still rest to-day.
If he would have died in Sicily, most likely he would have been buried in the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Sicily.
I am writing a book about the GELA Cemetery and want to use the picture you took of Pvt Buskirk's grave.
Can I have your permission, of course you will be credited and notified when my book is finished.

Thank you, so much for taking these photos. It is difficult when you live in TX and work in FL to get a chance to see headstones in WA. Thanks, again.
