Bio Photo Hello,

I am a paranormal investigator and researcher in the So. California area so naturally I come in contact with many different Cemeteries. Part of what I do is helping those both living and those who have passed on. If I can help you in any way please ask.

Hi Mike,

I like to practice when I can however, I will un-claim the request and you can take care of it.

You're welcome, Mike. It is just a thought, but perhaps you should check out the possibility that the engraving may have actually been paid for as a pre-need. I have seen this happen before, where the family didn't know it was paid for and so it wasn't ordered to be done after the spouse passed away. In your grandfather's case, If it was not already paid for, you may want to contact the cemetery and get a price quote. Since all you need is "Henry" and "1906-1992" it probably won't cost very much.

Take care,

Well, I was at the office today and inquired again regarding your grandfather's ashes. The records do show that they were in fact interred here with Madeline. Like I was saying before, there is always a chance that someone had a portion of his ashes scattered in the manner you were told, however the cemetery record would not reflect that.

Thank you for your patience while I checked this out.

I changed the info in the photo caption; sorry about that.

The cemetery records show that his remains are buried there. Could it be that only some of his ashes were scattered? I've heard of people doing that, but the cemetery records must reflect if a person's remains were not buried there, i.e., cremated only and the family took the ashes. Inglewood keeps very good records. Do you want to call them and confirm this? I am sure since you are family they will tell you.

The photos are from a photo request that I fulfilled. I can't remember who the requester was, though.
