I first started taking pictures of graves of only my relatives. I would return home do a little more research and discover that I missed a few. So out I would go to take a few more photos and the same thing would occur again. After my 3rd trip to the cemetery I decided I would just photograph the whole cemetery.

I try and do a little research on each of the stones that I photograph, using various resources. I use other people's trees for clues then try and prove those clues with documental evidence such as obituaries, census data or other records. It's a very enjoyable experience.

At first I also created a tree on Ancestry and was uploading the tombstone photograph's there as well but it became too labor intensive so now I only upload my relatives there. If you are would like to use my photographs for your family or upload them else where please do so. A link back to find a grave along with credit would be greatly appreciated. If you wish to use my photographs in a for profit venture please obtain written permission to do so.

My primary areas of interest for my own family lines are the names: Reifinger, Latshaw, Stufflet/Stofflet, Schlegel, Bower, Eck, Mertz, Day, Christman, Bock, Bennicoff, and Gruber in Berks, Pennsylvania, USA; Haney, Van Buskirk, Heller, Mills/Mill, Starner, Weiss, Hofner/Hoffner, Fetherman, Coslar, Sandt, Price, Houser, Werkheiser, and Brong in Monroe, Pennsylvania, USA.

I'm willing to transfer out of guidelines. If you are interested in doing more work on any of mine feel free to ask. Just take good care of each individual out of respect for their memory. If it is a relative of mine it may involve a little more discussion.

Dr. Nathaniel Cope Miller is my 3rd great grandfather. He is a descendant of Captain Sebastian Miller which is a memorial that I created and manage.

Thank you for creating this memorial. I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer this memorial to my name? It would be greatly appreciated by me and my family.

Baby Reifinger
Thank you for finding my half sister's grave. Her mother was my father's first wife, who died of TB. I found a death certificate for baby, but the funeral home no longer exists and the records are gone. I contacted the Catholic Dioceses, also no info available, other than that baby had not been baptized and could not be buried in a Catholic Cemetery. I would greatly appreciate a photo of her headstone and a good approximation of her burial site within the Cemetery. I plan on being in PA after Easter and would like to finally see my half sister's grave. I walked the portion of Arlington to the left of the building [while facing it] several years ago and have meant to get back to it on a later visit. I did not cover the section on the right. Is that where she is buried? You have made my day. I am on Find A Grave, but not a regular contributor. My father and mother and the twins are buried in the Bowers Cemetery. His father is buried in the Longswamp Cemetery. His parents are in unmarked graves also in the Longswamp Cemetery. A good number of Reifingers are also buried in the Longswamp Cemetery. I am related to all of them. This will complete a chapter in my family tree. Thank you so much. I'll have to make some updates at Find A Grave now that I have a more complete picture. I spend most of my time going through the obituaries as printed in the Kutztown Patriot newspaper and have a considerable number of names listed in my ancestry.com family tree, so rarely post anything to Find A Grave. I guess I should make a greater effort to add info to Find A Grave.

Mary Stitzer Miller
Hi. I believe Mary Etta Stitzer Miller is my great grandfather's sister. If she is not related to you, would you consider transferring her to me? Her parents are Samuel Stitzer and Hannah Louisa Smith Stitzer.

FAG Memorial # 79368134
I had taken a photo of the headstone for this individual but upon looking closer, I realize that it has inscribed "children of".
I was wondering if you have information that Ida and Mabel might be two different children, or is there another child on the back of the stone?
Thanks

I noticed the edit for the subject matter has not been updated. Is there a problem?

The date on the headstone has me very confused.
Abraham was born Sep 16 1830 but all military
records show he died Aug 2, 1864 & Sabina applied
for his military funds Oct of 1864.
He died in Bridgeport, Jackson, Alabama.
Buried in Chattanooga, Hamilton, Tennessee.
Memorial #2986068.
The last child of Sabina & Abraham was born in 1862 Is the death date on the headstone Sabina's
Appreciate your comment.
