James R. and Mollie Boone:
Dear. Bruce Wolcott,

Thank you so much for taking the beautiful pictures of my Great-Great-Uncle James Robert Boone, aka (James R. Boone) and his wife (Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Baker Boone) aka (Mollie E. Boone). I was wondering if by any chance, you could add your picture of their gravestone, to their earlier memorials (that I had made up for them, back in "2012") so they won't have duplicate memorials. Again, you did a wonderful job taking their tombstone pictures. "Thank You!" And, please do submit your name as the (Picture Source), as I want you to get full credit for your work. My mother and I used to belong to our local "Genealogy Club," so we used to walk the cemeteries and compile cemetery graves, so we know how much work is involved. James Robert Boone was my Great-Great-Uncle. So I've done a lengthy "Boone Family Research" on my Boone Family, and I'm trying to make sure all my "Boone Relatives" are all connected on "Find-A-Grave," to help other "Boone Family Researchers." So, "Thanks," again, for taking pictures of my relatives tombstones. I didn't want to use your picture, without your consent. But, I figured I'd just ask you to combine the two memorials.

(My Memorial for James Robert Boone): # 98777019; and (My Memorial for his wife, Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Baker Boone): # 99122751.

Thank You, Rebecca Eckard Wilson

Mary Frances Lester Kelly at Shiloh Cem.
Thank you for adding the beautiful pictures for the grave of Mary Frances Lester Kelly at Shiloh Cem. in Adams Co, IL. This lady was probably the 2nd g-grandmother of my husband and we are just learning about this family in the last few years. We appreciate and hope to visit this grave.

Alfred Riley Gow and his wife, Rosa Basket Gow
Hi Bruce,

Thank you for the transfers of Alfred Riley Gow and Rosa Ann Basket Gow Henderson. I am updating their memorial pages.

To keep it all "in the family," if you are not related to Robert H. Henderson, I would be happy to maintain Rosa Ann Baskett Gow Henderson's second husband. I can update his memorial page with a little more information.

Lavenia McSwain #100766778
Hi Bruce,

I have updated Lavenia's memorial. The McSwain grave is where Lavenia is actually buried with the last name of her second husband "Monroe McSwain." The other stone is a memory stone erected much later by some of the grandchildren of Lavenia and William Gray and is NOT where Luvenia is laying at rest.

Anyway, thanks for contacting me so that I could update the memorial for Luvenia so that others won't also think it is a duplicate.

BandyBurnett Cemetery
In response to your message about my postings for the Pollick/Pollock family. Yes they are there. You must realize that when it comes to graves that what you see is not what is always there. Time hides many graves. There was a census of Carroll County graves done 40 years ago by the history society so there is documented evidence. My pictures were taken in 1994 when my parents still lived in the area. The Pollicks are my mother's family. She has since passed but could tell me first hand stories about many of the people who lived there from 1920 and on. She also had 2nd hand accounts from her parents from 1870 and on. The area right behind the Bandy-Burnett Cemetery has flooded repeatedly since 1994 and covered the small cemetery with logs and debris. The last time I went to the cemetery was in 2014 (I live in the area) and I too could not find the markers. So sad. Nancy Brandon
