|Connie Ferris||Washington Mishler|
We visited the Messinger cemetery yesterday. We found only one Mishler grave: Joseph (you'll see a picture here: http://iowagravestones.org/gs_view.php?id=294245
I didn't report this as a "problem" as I don't want people to stop looking for it, we may have just missed it. There aren't a lot of graves though. There are "plots" with foundations marked but no gravestones. I mistakenly "claimed" the photo request and then "unclaimed" it, but wanted you to know that we made the attempt - unsuccessfully. Good luck! - Connie

Thanks so much for the photos. Great job!

Hi, Lacey. Are you related to the Mishlers? If so, we're cousins of some flavor.
I have no information at this time on where Joseph is buried. The best information on him at this time that I've found can be seen at:
More if I find it! Keep in touch!
|Ann Bowler||Thank you so very much.|
Thank you so much for photographing the gravestone for Howard D. Norring. It's interesting that the death certificate and other birth documents show that Howard was born in 1887, but the marker shows he was born in 1888. For this I am happy to have the picture. Thanks again. Ann Bowler
