Thank you for your quick response.
Yes, Charlyne mentioned many men and I took the time to look them all up. I see you have quite a rich family history.
I have no idea why my name would show up on any of your family papers. I did leave a virtual bouquet for Sarah Barker Smith Eelles but I often do that. I am wondering if she may have been married to one of my relatives. A Smith who moved from Kentucky to Missouri and died young. I would have to look that up.
How wonderful that you are the family Genealogist.
After I joined the DAR, I thought many in my family would be excited to join but thus far, I am the only one.
My Smith line comes from David and Alexander Smith who both fought in the American Revolution. Their DNA is R-M269. Since this information is very new to many of us, there is much work to be done to find birth and death certificates, etc.
Thank you again for your help.

This evening Charlene Woods contacted me about finding my name on many of her family sheets. Charlene and I are in the same DAR chapter in
She mentioned that I was found on a site that "Gal Clark" had set up but I don't know her.
I checked on Sarah Barker Smith Eells buried in Missouri and admit to leaving a virtual bouquet of flowers on December 26, 2015, but I am puzzled as to how I am related to your family.
Thank you for answering my inquiry.

Hi, I had to go and look lol. That I posted 2 years ago. I was at Assumption Cemetery and saw that pic on his gravestone. It was such a good picture that I wanted to put it on the memorial before it gets faded. The picture is so cool. No relation.

I have been seeking to contact you regarding Catharine Fleishman/Goedecker. I have information that would interest you as I am an descendant of this person. Please email me a cskubler at gmail dot com. Thank you!

That's great, Arthur! I'm in the process of joining the DAR myself... perhaps I will come across more as well. I am researching his ancestor Rev. RObert Lenthall from Oxfordshire, England, who came to Mass. in 1638 and was basically drummed out of the colony in 1639 for being too close to Anne Hutchinson in his theology. He returned to England and the Church of England and remained a rector until his death in 1658 in Surrey....

I would suggest contacting Find-a-Grave to see what's done with maintenance of fallen gravers' memorials. I'm curious to know myself.
