|James Montgomery||Ghormley surname|
I Jeni - I have been doing family tree research for a number of years and discovered a distant relative (Sarah G. Montgomery) whose middle name was "Gormley".
I suspect her grandmother (my g-g-g-g-g grandmother) was a Gormley, possibly Sarah Gormley. She was the wife of my g-g-g-g-g-grandfather, William Montgomery, Sr.
Their children, including my g-g-g-g grandfather, William Montgomery, Jr., were born in Cumberland County PA (in the 1770's). Many of them later moved to Ohio around 1800. William Sr. moved to Madison County OH and William;s brother, Humphrey Montgomery moved to Ross County OH and died there in 1801.
I know there were Gormleys in Cumberland County in the 1770's and was surprised to find number of them in Ross County as well (with apparently Cumberland County roots).
Just curious if you may come across any early Gormley records going back to Cumberland County which may help me in verifying the existence of Sarah Gormley.
I know it's a long-shot, but thought I would give it a try.

|frwill48||forest Hill Cemetery - Utica - FAG request|
You have a request in F A G for a photo of a grave. The memorial site does not include the Plot and/or Lot numbers which would help easily find the graves you want photographed.
If you will call or email the Forest Hill Cemetery and ask for Plot and Lot information, I would be glad to go there and take the photographs for you.
The office number is 315-735-2701 and their email is email@example.com
Once you have the information, please add it to the person’s F A G memorial site and mark it with a “Photo Request” or email me the burial information at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: If the gravestone is covered in lichen or moss I will attempt to clean them with water and soft soap solution, except for older slate and limestone gravestones. I do not use shaving cream, chalk or abrasives.
GPS Coordinate update: Also note, I routinely update the GPS coordinates on the individual’s F A G memorial to those of the specific gravesite instead of the cemetery. Please let me know if you do NOT want this updated.

You are welcome.
Jack and Jeanne Younkin were friends of ours in a gem and mineral club. We both belonged to this club for many years. I really do not know about any of the family. Sorry I can't help you more. They both were 'kind and lovely friends to have & we had some good rock trips.' If I find some good pictures of them I will let you know.

You are quite welcome. You have to know that this stone was on the verge of being lost, perhaps forever. Thought you might like to hear the story. This is a relatively small cemetery, on the outer edge of the county. The graves are laid out in rows. I was systematically walking the rows, reading the names where possible. I was walking through one row where there was a gap of unused ground when something contrasting with the green grass caught my eye, about 20-30 feet directly off my right side, actually in a different row. It was a whitish patch only about 4 inches in diameter. I went over to it and saw that it was smooth and hard. I removed some of the earth from on top of it and realized it was a gravestone. I went back to my vehicle and found a screwdriver and a windshield ice scraper. After uncovering it, it was still muddy and illegible. No water was available so I actually used about a half a can of pepsi and a brush to clean it off the best I could. I had a list of 14 graves I was searching for, and when I could finally read this one, it turned out to be one on the list. I do not know if this stone originally stood erect, or was mounted this way flat on it's back, but over time the grass and dirt had reclaimed it except for that one small 4 inch patch not quite yet covered. I plan to return there with some water and utensils in order to clean it up better. I will get a better photo and will replace the current one. This cemetery is apparently not monitored closely and so I will check on this stone from time to time in the future, to ensure the earth does not reclaim it, as it almost had done already. This was my first expedition as a find a graver. I found seven of the fourteen, but yours was the lucky catch of the day, one I am sure I will remember. Thought you might like to hear the story.

Are you able to help me learn more about her? she is connected to my line of CUNNINGHAMs. Any help appreciated regarding her parents, where they lived and how they got to the USA
|Jaci||re: Ellen Randels at Sunset Memorial|
Hello, I went to the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery office to inquire the lot location of Ellen, and this is what they said:
"Although Ellen was cremated at Sunset, her cremains were returned to the Funeral Director of whichever funeral home handled the arrangements. Typically, the remains are then handed over to whichever family member requested this."
Please change her current burial location to unknown; cremains with family - until you can locate where she was finally laid to rest, if she ever was.
She is NOT interred/inurned at this cemetery.

I see that her parents identify her as Frances that married Alvin. I don't need her death certificate but I wouldn't mind if you emailed me.
I'd like to send you what proof I have for her mother Nettie being buried in Benton County, Washington. It would be better than posting.
|L. Burnett||Ellen Frances Hughes Randels|
Does the death certificate give her mother and father's names? I know where her mother is buried but I want to make certain this is the correct person. I have been having the Richardson family linked where possible. I'm guessing Nettie actually must be the short name for Rosanne Genetta Richardson.
Here is Frances on the census information......
