“THIS IS A CEMETERY...lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited - memories are made tangible - and love is undisguised. This is a cemetery. Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched. Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life - not the death - of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living. A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - always.” Mary Lou Brannon|

Thanks for letting me know my friend. Blessings, Sandi :-)
|Julious||RE: Mount Zion|
After taking a closer look I believe the church you want is Mount Zion United Methodist Church which is located on Highway 52 south just across the line in S.C. From Morven N.C. take highway 52 south, cross the state line and the church will be on your right less than a mile inside Chesterfield County, S.C. Although it is a United Methodist Church it is an African-American church.

Sorry but the only Mount Zion I know is Mount Zion Baptist Church near Lilesville which is a white church and as far as I know it does not have a cemetery.

Thank you for that offer. Somehow the error got worked out and the incorrect location disappeared, so I put him in the correct location. I do have some relatives buried in Union County but they are on my mom's side, and they are Clontz's. I've actually been to the old Union Cemetery. Jeremiah Clontz is my ancestor for sure.

Hi Carolina. I have been getting messages like that all morning. I added a few hundred pics last week to transcribe and now my photos are showing up all over the world on the wrong memorials :( I only took pics in NS and do not know how to stop whatever is happening :( Sorry

Thank you for the quick correction on the memorial, thinking their mother might have had a second life, gave her children quite a fright....LOL!!
|Thelma Gamblin||Gladys S Gamblin (Parks)|
Memorial #147772616 shows Gladys as the mother, she is not. Gladys was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta and was never in Missouri in 1920. Could you please remove her from the memorial. Thank you.
|Marty||Wm Edmonston obit|
Thank you for the obit for William Edmonston, I have added it to his memorial page...
