Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy more than 30 years ago. My mother is a genealogist and I credit her with inspiring me to research my husband's family history. After a 28 year hiatus, I have renewed my interest in researching the Halter, Hauerwas, Zierer, Evers, Hollman, & Kobus families (and associated families) who immigrated primarily from France & Germany, migrated from NY, MN, WI, PA, & OH and eventually settled in northwest AL and south/southeast TN.

I am creating memorials for my side of the family (Lyle, Sudduth, Jefcoat [Jeffcoat],Marler & associated families) with the help of my mother, and creating them for husband's side of the family as well.

I do not mind flowers/notes posted on the memorials I have created; however, I have very personal reasons for what I do or do not post on the memorials I've created. I ask that you not add photographs or obituaries without my permission.

RE: Sessums photos
Thank you again and thanks to your Mother.

My family is loaded up with Sessums, and I am very appreciative of everything that I can find about them.

RE: John W. Lyle 1812
My closest DNA match is James E. Liles. He has a daughter living in Waycross Ga. Do you have any idea who the parents of Matthew Lyle might be. Bob Lyles Pearl Ms ggson of William Lyles/Liles born about 1844 and Martha Hunsucker

Thanks for your help in finding the Jesse/Eliza Pearson graves. I have had a new monument erected in place of the broken stubs that were there.
The Jesse Pearson family bible shows her spelling as "Minervia." Do you have documents that show the spelling as "Minerva?" If so, I would like to have copies.
Many thanks,
Jim C.

there has to be a connection
I saw your page for a grave for infant Marshall Ernest Lyle in a cemetery in Scott Country, MS. My grandfather was named Marshall Henry Lyle. Born in Scott County in 1919. I'm sure there's a connection! We may be related. I too have an interest in genealogy. I have been trying to build a family tree off an on for years but the hobby comes and goes and I generally loose all my findings each time. Anyways, is Marshall Henry Lyle in your findings somewhere? Like to hear from you, thanks.
