Mary Haymes
Linda, I do not think Mary M.Young Haymes is
buried in this Haymes Cemetery.

This cemetery is located on the LEWIS-Ferrell Road
near ELMO in Halifax Co. Va.

Read the Obituary on her Memorial page
and it says she is buried in the Family Lot

I E-mailed Ms. Watkins and brought it to her Attention.

Sarah T. Jones
Are you sure her birthday is correct on the memorial. We have located a Sarah T. Jones and a Benjamin Jones buried not to far from her. Please let me know so I can post picture or create a new one for this individual. We have dates of Born May 8 1850 and Died March 18, 1921.

Martha McBride
Linda: Let me do a little checking and see if this Martha McBride is the one related to Amos McBride. I know some of Amos's kin folks.I have the photo of the Martha McBride I was talking with you about and would be glad to e-mail it to you. If you could e-mail me at I will attach it and get it to you. Just let me know if you want it.

Martha Belle McBride Rayburn
I have a lot of my folks buried at Doc Hall. I go to the cemetery about every other week. I was there this morning looking for Martha Belle McBride Rayborn. I had no luck finding her.I looked the cemetery over real good.I have a book
called CLAY COUNY TENNESSEE CEMETERIES EAST OF THE CUMBERLAND. It is a very good book put together a couple of years ago by some very knowledgeable people. It does not show her buried at the Doc Hall Cemetery either. Is it possible she may be in another cemetery. Also is she any kin to Jack McBride and Amos McBride. Jack was my fathers best friend and I new him well.

With all that being said. The above book does show a cement marker with the name Bell Rayborn on it (no dates). This may be the one you are looking for. I didn't see that one this morning but I know about where it is.Let me know if you think this could be the one and I'll go back and take a picture and e-mail it to you.

Thanks** Rush Rich
