Hey Todd you're very welcome. I don't remember seeing her husband but I am returning there in the next week or so (I still have several more graves to photograph)and will double check.

If you get a chance that would be great! Tombstones are very helpful and sometimes surrounding tombstones are hidden clues also. Names I am searching for are: Doyle-Stanley-Cloud-West-Johnson-Harris-Pittman-Stracener-Graves...............would any of these names be part of your family tree?
once again thanks for your time!

Sorry, I am not related. I was participating in forum flowering project at the time.
I was too focus. I did a search on Cowan in that cemetery. There is a lot of them.

You have the names of the Cowan's, you could send them to me or post them here. My web page has my email link. If they are not listed any where, it is hard to request them. My Cowan's came from GA.

at McDowell Cemetery. Thanks for the picture. This angle is close to the picture I had. My picture black, with white lettering. I think the marker was wetted and the lettering whiten. Not a true view. Yours is better.
Phillip (Cowan is my brother-in-law surname)
Photographs of markers sometimes is a pain. I took one at the National Cemetery here, got home and it was just a white block. Had to go early in the morning to get a shadow, so the letters could be seen.

My dates are most likely wrong if you found a Joseph Crawford Roberts near Emma Roberts. Please take a photo and post, and I will double-check the dates listed on the headstone. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to photograph Emma Roberts's headstone - I appreciate it!
