I was looking through The Alabama Historical Quarterly and found Michel. She is listed in the book as Anne Michel Shorter.
It states she is in an unmarked grave. Judging by the picture of the family plot that I have there is a large area there that she could be buried in.

I have taken photos of the Little Oak Cemetery and didn't find the grave that you are looking for. William D., his wife Margaret M. Cowart, John Samuel and John, Jr have markers. There are two unmarked infant graves also.
There is also a Manervia Lavonia and Walter Lee Richbourg but they are buried in the Elam Church Cemetery which is also located in Goshen, Alabama. I have never been to this cemetery but I will be working in Goshen the rest of this week and will try to go by Wednesday afternoon to see if I can find her there.
I have pictures of the Richbourg graves in Little Oak that I would be happy to send to you. Just let me know if you are interested.

I am a Richbourg/Richburg decedent and was on Find A Grave today doing some research. I noticed that you have a photo request for Michel Ann Shorter Richbourg. One person tried to fill your request but said they were unable to locate the headstone. I'd like to re-enter the request so that maybe someone else will give it a try. However, Find A Grave will only allow one request at a time.
I'd appreciate it if you could cancel your request. Then either you or I can submit a new request stating that Michel Ann 'should' be near her husband Dr. John Samuel Richbourg, or his father John Richbourg.
Please write back with your thoughts on this 'plan' or if you have any questions.
