RE: Myrtle Burau / Moody
I don't have the actual certificate....that would need to be ordered. I don't think it will work for me to send you the Ancestry link. I'll try to find it on Family Search

RE: Myrtle Moody (actually Burau)
That is consistent with my research. See Frederick's bio.

My comment about the marriage certificate pertains to someone else.. so ignore

RE: Myrtle Moody (actually Burau)
Look at who Myrtle lists as her mother on her marriage certificate.

RE: Myrtle Moody
One of the later census does list Myrtle as a daughter. She was previously listed as a niece. I added notes to Ancestry records to help minimize confusion. I knew she was a niece from my research a couple years ago and added information to her biological father's bio at that time. Thanks for letting me know

RE: Myrtle Moody
Yes I remember that now. It has been a couple years since I worked on and at that time, I requested a note be added to Frederick Carl Burau.

Ignore this current request. Thanks for catching it.

If I see that census report on Ancestry again, I will add a clarifying note.

James Stallings
Hi, I'm the caretaker at the New Home (Mayberry) cemetery (in Palestine, WV) and I'm trying to find information regarding James Stallings (#54231748) and immediate descendants. Any information you have would be appreciated. I'm also trying to clear up confusion regarding his wife; New Home Cemetery lists a Martha Stalling (1826-1901, #55419291) as being interred there, while Find A Grave lists his wife as Martha (Ruark) Stallings (1817-1894, #67713527). I saw a book once of the history of Tyler County, WV which indicated that the dates on Martha Stalling's headstone may be incorrect, but I can't verify that information.

If you have any information that you would be willing to share with me, please email me at Thanks in advance.

Bedroom Set
My parents lived in an apartment in Los Angeles in the late 40's and early 50's. I understood they bought the set from someone in the apartment building that had gotten it from George Putnam. They later lived on Hilcrest Dr. and then moved to the Yucaipa area I believe in early 1953. I was born in White Memorial in 1950. I got the set minus the poster bed in 1970 and have had it ever since. I'm not that concerned about selling it if it had sentimental value to someone. Eric

Bedroom set
I've had a bedroom set for over 40 years that my parents gave me that supposedly was originally owned by George Putnam the newsman. I would be willing to let it go to a relative or family member. Eric

RE: Ethel & Leonora etc
I would love to see the photos. You could post them on his page, or I can send you my email address (will send it as an "edit" on one of your memorials). Thanks! :)
