I have been working on genealogy for about 15 years. After being diagnosed with cancer and ensuing treatment, I found myself thinking about the brevity of our time here on earth and found a renewed enthusiasm for finding my ancestors.|
You are free to use any photos I have taken and submitted of cemeteries or gravestones to use in your research, Ancestry trees, or any other genealogical endeavor; there is no need to ask my permission. That is why I submit them...so that they might help people document their family's history. I don't take many photos, but when I do, it is when I have visited cemeteries on my trips out of state, so my thought is that I should make this opportunity available to those unable to travel to see their family member's final resting place for themselves.
If I have created any memorials that are family members of yours, or friends or neighbors, and you would like to maintain them, let me know, and I will transfer them to you providing they are not my own family.
I work with our local Dog Rescue and foster homeless and discarded dogs until we find a forever home. We have 3 shih tzus who we adopted from Rescue. Or maybe they adopted us! If you are looking for a pet, dog or cat, please consider Rescue!
Compassion for animals is intimately connected with goodness of character; and it may be confidently asserted that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man.

|Rick D||Von Euw, Dold at Mt Hope|
Just wanted you to know I stumbled upon the headstones for your memorials at Mt Hope for the
Von Euws, Dolds and others. I completed 2 headstones of the 3 and will upload the remaining this afternoon. Just wanted to note as you will see Margaret Von Euw's husband is listed on the headstone as Thomas and the memorial is Stephen although the dates align? Best Regards,

I stopped in the cemetery office today and they said even niches in the Mausoleum should have grave cards and they don't have one for Harry.

I will ask at the office if they keep separate cards for niches in the mausoleum.

Can you pull the request now that the cemetery office claims they have no record of him? The only thing I can think is that maybe ashes were scattered on someone else's grave.

More than happy to transfer John to you. Glad he's found a home with relatives. I transcribed during one of my cemetery visits.

Thank you so much. I hate it when people try for quantity instead of quality in these things. It doesn't impress me one bit.
If you happen to go to Frazier at some time and notice Elizabeth's stone, it would be nice to know if they are near each other since they are mother and daughter. However, I'm certain we've got it right.

I took a look at the photo you posted. There was another one that had been posted by someone else and the death date wasn't clear. When I asked about it, I was told it wasn't 1891. It certainly looks like 1891 to me. I don't suppose you remember whether she was buried near her mother Elizabeth, wife of Pary Maples, memorial #25935270. That would definitely identify her.
Thank you for all the work you do.
