Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an "infant" when it comes to genealogy, but I am definitely learning. Summer is generally when I do most of my family history digging.

RE: Henry Buchanan's son's memorial
I am Henry Buchanan's 3rd great-granddaughter. Yes, I am interested in his son John Henry's information. It would be nice to link John Henry with his father's memorial.
Thank you.

Jessica,

Thanks for your time and effort. It is so sad to hear that a family member does not have a marker. At least it is confirmed that he is buried at that cemetery.

I would also like to welcome you to Find A Grave. It is a very rewarding experience.

RE: George W Jones & wife
Well, if it's Smith and Jones I don't even try to figure it out but I did go to the website that has the Denison Cemetery listings
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~manningmassey/denison.htm
and it did show Mattie Jones and George W. Jones.

Was Littie's real name Littie or was that a nickname?

Yes, I did the memorial for Sandy Manning who was so dedicated to genealogy and put many things online for those of us diggers. I didn't know her personally but she's in the family tree because her mama was significantly intertwined (not married but signifigant other) into a connection to my husband's family and therefore I added Sandy.

Wish I could help you but the only other suggestion that I could offer is to call the genealogy department at Idabel, McCurtain County, where Denison Cemetery is located. Their phone number is 580 286 4369 - keep trying there will be someone there during the week but just not every day. They have burial books that they might could help you.

Best regards in your research.

Cowden & Smith photos
Jessica, thanks so much for making the photos of Mr. Cowden and Mrs. Smith. They are a grandparent and great-grandparent of a friend of mine. I really appreciate your efforts - and the pics look great!
