Obituary for Mr. Tracy L Deal
Statesboro, GA
Mr. Tracy L. Deal, age 51, died Thursday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Tracy was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County. He was self employed and worked in construction for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Deal, and his brother, Brian Deal.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Deal, his mother, Gail Deal, his brother and sister in law, Terry and Melissa Deal, his nephews, Will Deal and Jamie Deal, and niece, Chelsea Deal, all of Statesboro. Many other nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
The funeral will be held on Monday at 1:00pm in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Elder Steve Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow at Brannen Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Barry Evans, Andy Colson, Joe Grooms, Jarrett Nessmith, CW Finch, and Clay Mock.
The family request that memorial contributions be made to the Brannen Family Cemetery Fund, c/o Glenn Nessmith 771 Nessmith Rd.Statesboro, GA 30458.
Friends may sign the online register book at
Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory of Statesboro is in charge of arrangements.

Thank you very much!! I loved Lannie Lee!! he was a wonderful man and very successful farmer!! he is Bulloch County most known farmer!! theres a couple youtube videos of him!! I talked to one of his daughters last time and we had a long conversation and talked about her dad and his relation to my family!! do you by any chance take pictures for cemeteries such as Bulloch Memorial, Eastside, Little Horse Creek (Rocky Ford) etc..?

Since you mentioned that he is a Navy Veteran, I checked on the VA gravesite locator and can not find his name. I will call the church tomorrow and see what they can tell me, maybe they know the location. Still working to get you your picture.

I returned to the cemetery and checked out these areas: Section 11, D5 - the headstone is for Parker and Roades and there is no marker for a Donaldson. Section 10, D5 - the headstone is for Dix and there is no marker for a Donaldson. We also checked Section 1, D5 and no luck there either. Could either of these Lots be a relative?

Could this person be buried in Greenwich in Section 11 D 5. I will check to see if that is the area he is in the next time I am out there.

Thanks for the info on first husband (J. J. Wilson) of Lucile Pennington. Our family only knew that she was married young and the marriage was annulled.
