I love to work on my family's
history. I am working on the Suther - Ketner -
Moose - Allman - Eudy Families.
I make a lot of mistakes and & appreciate anyone
to let me know of them. I will gladly transfer
any info or a memorial to anyone who would like to have it.
There days that I am in a wheel chair so it may take me awhile to get back with you as on these
days my pain is bad. Please feel free to add pictures or info. I will try hard to help anyone with any info I have. I love hearing from new people. I am not very good with the computer yet, my grandchildren told me that I should have never
gotten one, that is because when I mess up they have to come fix it.
Enough on me.
Have a Blessed life.

Mary Ella Ketner Wolfe
Hi Cindy- would you mind transferring the memorial for Mary Ella Ketner Wolfe (97381817) to me? She is currently managed by you, and she is my grandmother, so I would love to be able to add more information on her. Thank you!

Mooresville NC 28117

I am originally from Albemarle NC. My dad's family is McLester and Smith. My mom's family is Morton. Her dad was only a donor and not a father! I have not done any work on his line.

I would appreciate any help you can give me, and would by glad to pay copy and postage cost. If it is possible, I would enjoy meeting and talking with you.

RE: Moose - Allman
Hi Cindy,

My husband is a direct line descendant of Jacob Moose/Mussgnug and Barbara Bushart, colonial settlers to what is now Mount Pleasant, NC. They are his 5th Great Grandparents through his mother's father. He descends from the line of the youngest child, Barbara Moose 1803-1870 who married John M. Lefler 1798-1844. Find A Grave Memorial #69331035. Just last October we were country road riding and found the monument for them near the road in front of the old home place. I'm surprised to learn that so many books were preserved on the Moose family. Fascinating history!

Monroe Ketner
Hi Cindy,

Was my grand father the person you were looking for?

I attended a family reunion with my uncle, Roy Ketner, in Winston Salem, NC, in the late 80's-early 90's. Could that have been your clan? It was such a long time ago that I can't remember any names but if it was and I run across any of my uncle's research papers I'll let you know.

RE:Moose Book

I am so glad you found me. I am working on my family sheet as we speak. Mother and dad moved from NC to Indiana after WWII with dads' sister and her new husband who lived in Evansville, Indiana. That's why only my eldest brother Terry was born in NC and the rest of the 8 us weren't. We only got to spend part of our summers and a few Christmas's there. So many Moose-Fortner-Bailey-Pearson/Parlier-Current-Starnes and I'm still digging at age 54. My siblings think it's worthless information and I'm a kook. Her brother Frank Fortner and Charles both are still alive and I can give you their addresses in NC or help you get their information.
I will get this in the mail to you. I now live in St Peters, MO where my daughter Kayla is a mgr at a Marshall's retail store and my son Joshua is a teacher at a middle school Special Educ with Masters and Principal's License, married with 3 little ones.
Your Moose cousin,
