RE: Lewis Family
Hi Ilga,
Frustrating trying to gleam information from an old cousin woman who also descends from James Lewis and has visited the cemetery a quite a number of years ago. I have sent her Google Map pictures of the possible location of the cemetery, but not success yet. It is good to use Google Maps now that they are using the fall satallite view. She took the two pictures at the Lewis-Pitts Cemetery as well as an inventory. I believe that James Lewis is in a boxed grave there. She said it was a bit overgrown at the time, near the road (Morehead Road - 32), where a property road crosses the creek. She had to go up a hill to the residence to get directions to the cemetery. Noted that it is between the road and the creek. Fall is the best time to locate this cemetery. Of course Johnny Bays children can help and should not be a problem if it is that close to the road. I want to be alive to see this brought to closure for the public to acknowledge for the future.

Lewis Family - Kentucky
Hi Ilga,
Sorry for the edit requests, as I thought without looking who created the memorial pages for 116242379 and 103808557. I wanted to take out the memorial numbers in the Bio, of those who had been linked. Also wanted to include the 1850 Census taken on August 28, 1850, the year Peter Lewis died. Trying to locate the property at this time (dwelling 294). His father James (also buried with Peter) is my g-g-g-g grandfather.

Henry Martin
Hello. Henry married Maranda then her sister Eliza when she died not long after he returned from the civil war. All of his children were with Maranda. There was another family of Martins who had traveled from the east through Kentucky and settled in Vermilion county illinois. There are also some related Martins nearby in Indiana. Your Henry and Mary are not the same as mine. I'm not sure if I have many children listed for Henrys siblings but I'll check my a ansestry.com records. Excuse the messy typing I'm not used to using my phone. :-)

RE: Earl Reynolds
Just happy to help out. But all the credit should go to David Garrison 47981208 for sharing the obit and his Grandmother for clipping and saving the obit. I can't say one way or another if Ann Caroline Reynolds is buried in Frankfort I didn't find a marker. Buy the way if you would like me to transfer the Reynolds I would be more than happy just let me know.

Further Duckwall Clarification
The Jacob Duckwall born in 1813 could be a son of Jacob Duckwall born in 1790. The two deaths of Jacob (1813) & Sarah Weaver Duckwall on same day could be the son & his mother.

Jacob & Sarah Weaver Duckwall
Thanks for note. This raises alot of questions. See site below:

Duckwall, Jacob 82840844
b. 1813 d. Jun. 14, 1856 Crown Hill Cemetery
Salem (Washington County)
Washington County
Indiana, USA

The above Jacob Duckwall was born 17 years before the 1790 Jacob Duckwall. This could be son of Jacob Duckwall Sr. who was born in 1790 & his mother, Sarah Weaver. Need to know why two Duckwalls from same family died on same day???
Research Continuing. There is no Sarah Weaver Duckwall buried in same cemetery either.
I would like to see an obit why two Duckwalls died on same day. Appreciate your note. I have brought my Jacob Duckwall site up to date with your note.
