Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interest in genealogy and learning more about relatives, especially direct ancestors, began as a young high school girl -- in large part through my paternal grandmother Cherry C. (Starr) Hein and her brother Jack Raymond Starr who helped pique this interest. It was also fun to pass this interest onto my son Erik Hendrickson who developed a love for his Cherokee roots and history, too.

I love how each person has their own genealogy "puzzle" of sorts that is unique to them. I also think it's pretty cool how you don't know where this puzzle-type road will take you -- it is something of an adventure at times.

To those who leave flowers and kind words at the memorials that I have created and / or have been transferred to me, THANK YOU! It is so touching that others care to pause and show their care and interest.

You left flowers on the memorial for Grandfather Daniel Williams that said were to an uncle. I assume you are related to him.

My daughters are g-grandchildren of Daniel and Cassie Mae. Is this your family line? We are looking for any information on Cassie. She died when her daughter was very young. This child went to live with her grandmother for a while and adored Annie.

Now, she remembers very little about her life with her grandmother and nothing about her mother. I am trying to find some information about Cassie for her g-g-grandchildren.

Thank you!

My name is Kathy.
My mothers paternal side is Reese.
I have been trying to figure this line out for a long time.
I came across your site and wonder if you would be interested in corresponding.
I have dna tested at all 3 major testing sites and have also tested several family members including a Reese cousin.

Hope to hear from you soon

RE: Alta Williams
Alta's grandfather Robert Williams was the brother of my X2 great grandfather Elijah W Williams. Their dad was James Williams; mother was Judith Mimms who was also the aunt of Jesse and Zerelda (Mimms) James.

I have noticed that you are the caretaker of several memorials of members of the Williams family buried in Goff Cemetery. I assume you are related to them as I am. Please contact me as I would love to find out how we are related.
