Bio and Links
I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, and so were my parents and three of my grandparents. Before them, there were several generations of Marylanders. By coincidence, I relocated 50 years ago to upstate New York, not far from where that fourth grandparent originated, and I remain there.
Many of my ancestors are buried in Loudon Park, Baltimore. Some others are in Govans Presbyterian church cemetery, also in Baltimore. I do have some buried in Utica, NY in Forest Hill Cemetery.

RE: Nan Nichols
Hi Carol. I found Nan because I was filling in some gaps on my family tree. Nan's grandfather was Thomas Roger Johnson and he was a desc, of Thomas Johnson and Dorcas Sedgwick, as I am. I am desc. from their daughter Elizabeth Johnson Cook and Thomas Roger was a desc. of her brother Roger...I think...don't have the tree in front of me right now. So.....Thomas Roger Johnson and I are distantly related. But there is more....Thomas Roger's first wife was Mary Cook Brashear, she being related to him because she was Elizabeth Johnson Cook's great granddaughter. Thomas Roger's brother Dr. William Hilleary Johnson married Mary Cook Brashear's sister Laura Brashear. Mary and Laura were sisters of my gr gr grandfather Charles Hall Brashear (buried Louisiana.)Poor Mary died rather young and none of her children lived to have children of their own. After her death, Thomas Roger J. married Elizabeth Garland Davis and they were the parents of Nan's father. So this is my connection. What is your connection? There are some nice photos on you have some of Nan or her parents that you could share with me? Thanks Little Marie

You sponsored the memorial for Harry Darling at Govans. Assuming you are related, I transferred the memorial(s) to you in that plot that I created. Nice of you to remeber them.

William Curley at Louden Park
Hi. I am trying to connect your William Curley with my late mother-in-law's Curley family in the Baltimore area. William is a fairly common name in her family. Do you know who his parents were?

The only William that I have connected so far that far back was William Curley 1821-1858 who was married to Mary Ellen Carr.

I look forward to hearing back from you.
