Lydia Jane Stivers
Hi Mike, I noticed that you note that Lydia Jane Stivers is in the same Hart Family Cemetery as China and Andrew Jackson Whattenbarger. Lydia Jane (Hart) Stivers was China's mother; China's father was Levi Hart (b. Jul 1819 d. -after 1910). I have some deeper ancestor information in this line if you are interested.
I was glad to find where LJS was buried. Thank you for adding her, China and AJ to Find A Grave.

RE: Riddle Cemetery
Yes you did respond almost immediately. I have not been there yet but I have told many others the basics on how to find the cemetery. An interesting thing I discovered about a month ago. I worked in Lexington almost 18 years in a residential program for mentally challenged adults. One lady I worked with was a Riddell and I took her to visit her parents grave several times. that was 1989-2006. I just found out that my uncle by marriage, Bill Riddle and Mary Riddell had the same great grand parents and they are the ones in the Riddle Cemetery. Guess the name was changed to Riddell sometime after they moved from Rockcastle to Jessamine county, at least that one did. Have a great day.

Joan Vicars Phillips
Durham, South Webster Cemetery
The link between Kathryn and Earthel has been made. Our Scioto County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society was transcribing and photographing parts of the cemetery. I was given the job of uploading to findagrave. But, not knowing the families, it is difficult to link them together.

Thanks for the info.

RE: Joan Esther Casey #71201627
Thank you so much, Mike for the transfer. We hope to visit Baby Joan's gravesite soon. Her twin brother, John Lester Casey passed away in 2006 at the age of 64. I'm happy to add Baby Joan to our family memorials. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

Joan Esther Casey #71201627
Hello, would you be willing to transfer this memorial to me? Joan is my husband's infant sister, twin to his brother John Lester Casey, deceased. We plan on a visit to Linden Grove Cemetery this spring and take a picture of her gravesite to post. Thank you, Shandon

Mollie & John Scott

Mollie and John Scott were also my great, great grandparents - which makes you and I third cousins. Thanks for finding & posting pictures of their graves. Interestingly enough, Mollie Corman Scott was originally buried next to her husband John at Maple Grove, but my great, great Aunt Lizzie Rankin had her body exhumed and moved to Hillcrest Cemetery when she and her husband, Walter, bought their plots.

Riddle Cemetery
Could you please tell me how to find this cemetery. We have some Riddle's buried there but they are not listed on "findagrave". They lived on Riddle Lane - just off 4th St. in Nicholasville. The death record says "buried in family graveyard" and/or "buried in the Riddle Graveyard". Any help will be appreciated. Shirley Smith -

Mima Brandenburg, Winchester Cemetery
Hello Mike,

Oops! I was just looking at the cemetery records trying to find Luther Brandenburg. They have him listed as D. L. Brandenburg, so I guess his full name was David Luther Brandenburg.

Sorry if my previous message caused any confusion for you.

Best wishes,

Mima Brandenburg, Winchester Cemetery
Hello Mike,

I've uploaded a gravestone photo for Mima Brandenburg. I noticed in your photo request that you stated she is married to David Brandenburg. Based on the gravestone, it looks like her husband's name is/was Luther.

There is another marker in another section of the cemetery for David and Maude Brandenburg.

Just wanted to let you know this.

Best wishes,
