RE: Mt. Elliott Cemetery.
Thank you for the information, and for the thank you! Her husband isn't listed in that cemetery...doesn't mean he isn't there, I know. Do you know where he is interred?

RE: John Springer
Frederick was my Great, Great, grandfather. My line is thru his son Lewis Salmon.

The family bible, I believe, is in Maryland with the Getzendanner family. I found an old newspaper clipping from Frederick, Maryland from 1912 that stated that it was in their possession.

Mary Salmon (daughter of Edward) married Peter Buckey and their daughter Mary married Abraham Getzendanner.

Frederick came to Ohio before his mother died, so she would probably have kept it in her possession until she died.

Edward Salmon was suppose to have been from a wealthy family in England, I have been unable to find any proof of that - yet. That is the fun of the hunt!

Back to your side, we had visited Stone Creek Cemetery to try and find John and Margaret's graves, I found John, but no Margaret. She died in 1901, I would have thought that there would be a marker. Do you know what happened?
