RE: Huddleston Family
Hi, Kathy
Line goes back to Franklin Monroe Huddleston to Jordan Fleming Huddleston (and spouse Mary "Polly" Bradford)
I think Martha on your side is Jordan's sister perhaps..I no longer have my original info nor first computer with all my family on the program I started about 20 years ago. Begin research when daughter was in high school and had a chart to do for a class. Then years later found proof and such of family.
I think we have emailed before, and is so nice to talk again.

RE: Coyle Family
I haven't had the pleasure of reading the newspaper article. I do know that my ggreat uncle Hugh was only married once, to Mahala Rogers b in Bellevue, PA. She was pregnant when Hugh was shot and killed in the line of duty and, perhaps due to stress, she had a miscarrage. If you would be so kind as to tell me how I may read the article, I'd be tickled pink : )

RE: Coyle Family
My info is also sketchy. Here's what I have on my gggrandfather & family:
Bernard Coyle b probably 1828 (attempting to find out where in Ireland...could be Co. Donegal or Co. Cavan) Bernard d 6 May 1884
married Elizabeth ___ (attempting to find out her maiden name as well as more info about her. She was prob born about 1833)
emigrated to America prob 1852 or 1853
Had 6 sons:
1. Daniel b about 1853 in PA, remained single, lived out his last years at the home of his sister-in-law Margaret Ellen Dougherty Coyle;
2. Hugh J b 1854 in Johnstone, PA
married Mahala Rogers. They had a dau Catherine Amy. Hugh, a sheriff, was shot to death in the line of duty in McDonald, PA 6 Aug 1892;
3. John b 15 Dec 1856 in OH became a doctor, moved to Arkansas
married Alice Harmon 16 Dec 1883 (attempting to learn more about them) John d 14 Oct 1895;
4. James Francis 1859 OH 1st groundkeeper for the Pgh Buccaneers in Exposition Park. He remained single. He along with his bro Daniel lived out his last years at the home of his sis-in-law Margaret;
5. Bernard Norman 1862 OH moved to Montana. He married according to family records. No name, though;
6. Patrick Joseph 20 March 1864 Ironton, Lawrence Co., OH
married Margaret "Maggie" Ellen Dougherty 23 June 1887. They went on to have 12 children.

That's all the info that I have on my gg uncle Bernard Norman.
