Mary Powell Beam
Hi again Debra, what a beautiful photo of Mary Jessie! Is there ANY chance you have a photo of their mother Matilda and her mother Phebe Shaw Keefer? Most appreciative!

Cactus Kate
Dear Debra, Wow! What a story about the Powell family! Kate's grandmother was sister to my great-grandmother.
I am wondering where the name Skinner came for Hannah Keefer? Thanks for your help and sure wish I had known Kate!
Many thanks,
Elaine Moss

RE: Kate Harvey Stone
you are very welcome. Actually the marker appears to have been placed quite a while ago. Someone cared.

RE: Hunter Gravestones
You're welcome. Just FYI, there are 3 more Hunter's buried on this same plot. Fred Eugene Hunter 1875-1939, Lennie Staley Hunter 1886-1960, and Edwin Harris Hunter 1890-1954. I have the photos if you would like them.

Have a great day!

Spring Prairie Lutheran Cemetery
Would you like me to transfer any of the Hatleberg memorials I've added to Spring Prairie Lutheran Cemetery, in Columbia County, Wisconsin? More than happy to do so, just ask!

RE: My Tipton Family
You're welcome. Tipton is a very common name in East Tennessee. Samuel Tipton was an early settler and political leader around the time of the American Revolution. His Grave is in the Green Hill Cemetery near my home. My 2GGF is Enoch Tipton who emigrated to Utah from England in the Mid 1800's. The founder of Find A Grave is a Tipton from Salt Lake City and I assume he is my cousin.

Highland Cemetery was and could be a beautiful place but it's a bit run down now. I plan to get back up there and do a complete photo inventory before it gets any worse. With any luck I'll find your kin.

RE: Pictures
If you have more pics you need at Highland bring it on. I like the exercise anyways. It gives me something to do, since I am a mom and a housewife.
