Please find out as much info as you can about the location of the stone. I was there today 12/23/2016 and it was tough to find stones. There wasn't an office or anyone on the property and for some reason all of the street/lot signs were painted over in black. I will try again another time.

Sorry, I am just now seeing your reply concerning Fleeta Estelle Maddox. I would like to communicate you via my regular email address if that is okay. I have so many questions about Fleeta and family. She was my mother's grandmother on her father's side. My aunt Fleta Maddox Jones, still living, is named after her. She dearly loved her grandmother, Fleeta Estelle, and still talks a lot about her today. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Looking forward to hearing from you!

My great grandmother was Fleeta Estelle Sawyer Maddox who was the daughter of John L Sawyer; her mother died either during or after the Civil War and she went to live with her mother's brother and wife. Their names were Georgia Ann and George Knight. I know that she had a few stepsisters and maybe one stepbrother. But all I know is that one of them was name Molly. Fleeta Sawyer is buried in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Stark. ( I think this is either Butts or Henry County.) I know that Johm Sawyer is buried in Rockdale County at Eastview Cemetery. Do you think we have a connection?
