I have been researching family for 6 years and work at it almost everyday. |
I live in Sacramento, California, part time, Arizona in the winter months and spend time with family in Oregon in the summer. I am retired and keep busy with family research.
I appreciate those who have added memorials for my family and if on any of the memorials i have created for one of your family members you find errors or would like me to transfer the memorial to yourself, please contact me.
My family research interests are: Cox, Macklin, Morris, Scharosch, Shadduck, Shockley, Veck, Perry, Blasdell, Clapp, Quinby, Rose, Larson, and Fox

If I can find it I most certainly will. Did find the one of John Edward Cooley who is the cross next to her. Plan to add it when have a free minute.Thanks for putting her up here.

What does the silver metal say and where is it next to her grave. I can send you her obit. She was the last child of my great great grandfather's children.John Edward Cooley died at the battle of Gettysburg, the family settled in Grass valley after living in Berkeley for awhile. Her brother John was my grand father's father.My grand father was Rear Admiral Thomas Ross Cooley. The house he grew up in still stands in Grass valley.

Thanks for posting the photo of my ancestor on the Cooley side of the family at Saint Canice's. Therr should be a cross right next to her a cross that says Cooley; I will as soon as I can scan it add it as it was her brother. And there should be two empty burial spots for more Cooleys never used next to her
|Rosetta Christopher||James Patterson|
Hello, I am researching family members and believe this may be a son to James Patterson, Sr. and Ida Pearl Cox Fay Patterson. But as he has no information except the military inscription....
Where did you get the photo that is on his site?
Thanks Rosetta Christopher

You're welcome. It really was sad. I felt so bad for his wife!

Wish I had had better news for you. Still working on Cora to find maiden name, etc. - she seems to be a mystery! If I find anything that will be helpful for D'Armond, will certainly let you know.
|Dorothy Cox-Woodruff||Cox family|
What are some of the people you have in your family with the last name of COX. I have been working on my Cox family for over 30 years and I have over 15000 names in my tree.....Dotty
|ReconnectNow||RE: Olive Keen|
I added my photo to Your memorial. I also sent a correction on the name. A hyphenated name will not show up on the search for Keen. I added the first married name after the maiden name. If you do not want it there then just have it in the Bio but not with Keen. I like to have it there because it will show on the search list and alert you to the Wilson name. Otherwise if someone like myself searched Keen and did not find her I could add another duplicate memorial which we do not want to do. Make the name change by accepting my edit and I will delete my duplicate memorial. I am happy you found her. Rosalie
|Ruth Macklin Jean||RE: Mildred Macklin Whited|
Re: Mildred Macklin Whited, Do you know when or where she divorced Whited? My father said he was very abusive and that is why she disappeared with their youngest boy. He also said a couple of times that he thought he may have killed her and the baby. He even mentioned they could be in the old well on the farm they lived on. I was born in 1931. I never knew Mildred. Someone said she was seen at a Salvation Army shelter in Chicago.
This all conjecture. None of the Mildred Whited or Mildred Macklin listed in Social Security
Death records match her.
I am willing to send what little I have.
Ruth Macklin Jean
