What a nickname! Any idea on Abe came by that nickname? Civil War, perhaps?

Daughter Rebecca [1839-1872] married John Milton Gartrell and is buried in Leesville Cemetery, Carroll Co., Ohio - thought you might like to link her in with the other children. Thanks.

Hello, Rex, Thank you for your work on the Harmon family. I am a descendant of Mattie Harmon Granneman, but seeking more information on Katherine Zeigler. Some accounts say she was born in 1768, but the Narrow Passage Massacre was in 1764 so I am wondering if you have more definite information about her birth year. Also, was George Seigl (or Zeigler), who fought the Indians and lost his life at the Massacre, Katherine's father?

My parents have photos of Bean relatives in New Palestine Cemetery. Can you tell me where exactly it is? Have you seen the Bean stones? I just want to make sure I have the right place. Thanks for your help.

I was researching this individual for a co-worker and got a copy of Reverand Harmon's obituary. If you don't have a copy of this obituary, I'd be happy to scan it and send it to you.
