|Paul Sieg ||Sharp Home|
My cousins believe the two older folks to be Robert and Nancy Cochran, and the younger man with the horse is perhaps their son, name not known.
|Paul Sieg ||Job and Phebe Haines Sharp home|
I believe I know the names of the folks in front of the home. I just need to do some digging into some emails from another cousin of mine. Phebe was my 4th ggaunt. Let me know if you still need the names.
hey, thanks for letting me know. I never would have noticed. I removed it. Did you ever find where Laura Barnes is buried?

You are quite welcome! So happy to help. Would you like the other names transferred to you? I'm happy to do so.

You're very welcome! If you would like the full-sized photos, send me an email and I will send them to you.
It was just by chance that I was able to get those photos on Saturday. I got there very late - 4:25pm - and I had no map or anything. I just thought, oh, I'll just walk around for a few minutes (they close the gate at 5) and see if I can find it.
Yah, that cemetery has a TON of stones, like THAT was going to happen! HA But, this dude came in driving a truck with a leaf blower, etc., so I asked if he worked there. He said "sometimes" (say whaaa?). Anyway, I asked him if he knew where Section 171A was, so he said he'd try to look.
The other guy wanted to close the cemetery gates early, but I wouldn't let him. Lo and behold, the leaf blower dude found the section area, and I found the stones in about 30 seconds!!! It was already dusk, so I tried to get the best photo I could.
I will try to go back there again and get a better photo one of these days, but at least there's something for now.

There's a great web site now available to us all that gives, among other useful info, the cemetery, grave location, etc. of a deceased. I just found out about it yesterday, tried it a few minutes ago using both of the Fanzones to test it out. Seems that they're both interred at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Menlo Park, CA, not Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA.
If you go to sfgenealogy.com, you'll be able to verify this and enter your Fanzone data at the Menlo Park data base.
|Zeb Payne||Hi Jenai|
Got your message. The pic of the Stricklands was found in my wife's parents home when we were cleaning after they passed. It has handwritten names on the back and I have documented in our family records online as well. The Strickland to Nelson connection. I have linked William W Strickland to Mollie's Findagrave record. Contact me sometime at the info on my Findagrave page and would love to get to you what I have on the family and fill in some of my blanks as well. Thanks!
|Gerry Jean||RE: Fanzone|
When I was at the Holy Cross Cemetery office, this morning, the woman helping me said that she couldn't find any entries for Caterina & Antonio Fanzone. She was doing me quite a favor looking up location sites for over 60 individuals .... there was no way that I could verify her searches.
I just did Fanzone/cemetery searches and it does show that they are interred at Holy Cross. I have to call her on Monday to follow up on similar "mysteries" so I'll ask her to double-check the Fanzones. She's very accomodating!

So am I. He is my 6th great grandfather. Perhaps we could compare notes. Please e-mail me at MLSopp@earthlink.net
|Margaret Sopp||Michael Spohn|
I noticed you requested a photo of Michael Spohn's tombstone at Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery. Are you a descendant?
