Born in Havana, Cuba and left in 1960 on Operation Peter (Pedro) Pan before being forced into a Communist militia. Moved to Chester, PA. and lived with my Grandfather Frederick Fairlamb (FAG) and Aunt Blanche (Fairlamb)Van Ness (FAG) until my parents (Humphrey A and Carmen B. Fairlamb)left Cuba and settled in Miami, FL. Graduated from Miami Southwest High and married my high school sweetheart Steve Parker in 1968. Moved to Haines City, FL in 1970(summers in NC). We have two children, a son and daughter.|
Five Grands living in NC and FL. Since I knew Spanish I used skills in the Polk County FL. School system as a para professional and retired in 2008. Find a Grave has connected me with family that before 1980 never knew existed. Thank you, FIND A GRAVE.
Now Steve (who enters most data and I split our time between FL. and NC. enjoying friends everywhere.
We would like to thank photo contributors and especially Cathy and Dennis Edwards for their help in locating additional information on our site.

I am chasing Griners , trying to find my great great grandmother, who would have married a James (Jason?) Banister. They wound up in Thomas Co, but we are having serious trouble finding out anything about either one of them...

Oh dear, now I'm confused. Don't remember what I sent you earlier -- just that Sydney was a male. Sydney (with a y) was the son of Alfred and Lydia. He was married to Louisa "Lulu" Fairlamb. Yes, he should be connected, as should Lulu at the Delaware State Hospital Cemetery.
