I have worked for the City of Englewood,Ohio and the City maintains records for our two cemeteries in town - Fairview and Happy Corner. I've worked for Englewood for 34 years and have tried to update every record we have for burials and purchases of lots in our two cemeteries. We have not had a burial in Happy Corner Cemetery for 20 years but we bury approximately 20 individuals in Fairview per year. If you have any questions regarding Fairview or Happy Corner cemeteries, feel free to contact me! I am retiring from the City effective December 20, 2013 but can still do updates for these two cemeteries from home.

Thank you so very much! You have no idea how happy I am to have them! Your kindness goes above an beyond. Thanks for all that you have done for Find A Grave as well! Making these memorial for all to be able to see helps keep the memory of them alive. It makes me feel as if I am able to go pay my respects to them. I think about how hard their lives must have been compared to ours.... although it was just every day life to them at the time.
Thanks again

I would like to know more about this man. Where did he die? The tombstone says he died in World War I.

I made a memorial for him and transferred it to you. It sounds like he is part of your family. Family needs to be family.

RE: Jacob Baker
Hi Karen,

Yes, Jacob was a Private in the Revolutionary War. He is listed on the DAR website as serving with CAPT John Miller, 3rd Company, York County.

possible duplicate
Hi, Karen. I believe memorial 110199817 (Clorinda Miller) is a duplicate for 19588240 (Clarinda "Clara" Kinsey Miller). I did not create the 19588240 entry but I just submitted additional information about Great Aunt Clara with links to her parents.

Did you know Kimberly Kay Donley personally? I am trying to find information on a high school classmate and the birthdate for this Kim would match. Do you know if this was the Kim Donley who graduated from Trotwood Madison in 1975?

Frank Sodders
Hi Karen,
I am Frank Sodders great great granddaughter through his daughter Margaret Sodders Cavender. I really don't know much about this side of my family but am really interested.

Any thing that you could share with me I would appreciate.
