My father started our family tree many years ago. I have held on to the papers he started putting together. I started earlier this year documenting my family in earnest. I enjoy helping people --- especially my fellow geneaology enthusiasts on Find-A-Grave. I currently live in Leeds, AL w/ my son, Zach. I enjoy Alabama Crimson Tide football, Atlanta Braves baseball, NASCAR, camping, reading, spending time outdoors, and most anything with my son. I am interested in the following family lines: Niles (Indiana), Sims, McAdams, Miller, Wood (Kentucky/Indiana)and Fields.|

Yes, this is the same Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church, and Cemetery. My wife's father has lots of family buried there. The Stokes, McAdams, McDill, Harrell, House, Jennings are related to him. William J. McAdams was born 1856, the son Obediah Fields McAdams, and Temperance (Earp) McAdams. Obediah F. was buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, in Lamar Co., Alabama. After Temperance Earp died Obediah married a second time to Mary Cobb Oct. 16, 1866 in Fayette Co., Alabama. Mary (Cobb) Jennings McAdams was my wife's third Great Grandmother! She was first married Thomas Jasper Jennings, and they had Sarah Jane Jennings, who married Bartus McAdams, and James Monroe Stokes!

I've noticed you have McAdams family on your page. My father-in-law was related to the McAdams family from Millport, and Kennedy, Alabama. Can you tell me more about Lem, & William Eck McAdams parent's. They may connected to my father - in - law's family. Some of them were buried at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, south of Millport, Alabama.

Wow Tammy, that was sooo quick. Thank you very much. And thank you for checking on his wife too. Perhaps she hasn't passed yet or has remarried. You are most kind to do all that checking for me.
