Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love working on family history and it's my favorite hobby. I feel that I'm keeping the memory of family members alive that have passed on.
When I was younger I could have cared less about that old stuff and did'nt pay attention. Now with both of my parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle gone I wish I had listened more.
I have been working on my mother's line since 2002 and my father's line for a couple of years.
I have just started working on my husband's line.
My grandmother, Cleo Haley Wallace, got me started working on the family history when she gave me a blank family tree, old letter and a list of her mother's family wrote on a piece of paper in her grandfather's Bible.
The main families that I'm working on are: Haley, Slayton, Avers, Moore, Bell and Trail.

Bell Family
Hi,
I noticed you are researching the Bell Family.
On Find A Grave, there is a marker for a Judy Ann Bell 1840-1934 in the West Lawn Cemetery. There is no other information listed.
My g grandmother is Judith Ann Henry Bell 1847-1934. The was married to John Bell 1835-1891.
I know that she is buried in the West Lawn Cemetery in Henryetta Okla.
I spoke to the gentlemen who are caretakers at the cemetery, & they were wonderful. They walked the cemetery to find my g grandmothers plot. They did find an unmarked plot that was listed as hers. I know that it is hers because her daughter A.C. Dennis is listed as trustee. That plot, had the correct dates of 1847-1934.
I also spoke to a lady at the Henryetta Library, who said they had the information that the Judy Ann Henry that is showing with the marker also had A.C. Dennis as trustee.
Do you have any information as to who might have purchased the marker that is shown?
Could it possibly have the wrong dates on it?
Another mystery!!
I would appreciate any information you might have.
Thank you,
Barbara Pedrioli

RE: William and Ethel Evans, Okmulgee Cemetery
Might you have a photo of the whole Evans headstone? I am a very distant relative and I collect headstone photos. If possible, could you send such a photo to gdhobgen@aol.com. Thanks for any help.

Jeremiah Hamm's parents...
Hi there, I believe you expressed an interest in knowing about the parents Jeremiah Hamm. You can now find his mother Polly on Find A Grave at Find A Grave Memorial# 130064817. There is a John Hamm there as well that is Jeremiah's brother. His father John's marker has not yet been found as far as I know. Hope this helps in your research. Lisa

RE: Courson's
You're very welcome. I tried hard to find Albert's, but apparently he doesn't have a stone. It's a pretty cemetery. Glad I could help; it's sort of "therapy" for me too.
