I became involved with FindAGrave after my brother passed away in late 2009. I was looking for a way to pay some sort of tribute to him and this was it! I requested a photo of the headstone (which I had not seen) and in less than 24 hours, a volunteer had posted it! I also participate as a photo volunteer and it makes me feel good to know I can add something to such a unique website.

I have always found cemeteries (especially older ones) to be interesting. There is such history in them! This is a great way to uncover information regarding your family too!

Mt Zion Cemetery
Much thanks for your help. Please tell your Mom that it is Martin Van Buren Waite that I'm trying to find where he is buried. I'm not a relative. I've been doing some research and ran across his name. He died in 1962 at the age of 75. He lived in Osceola but his death certificate says MT Zion, Rockville, MO. I went to the MO USGenWeb and they do have an entry for MT Zion, St Caire Cty Osage township and the surname of Waite was listed. I think I'm going to try and add it to the list and see what happens. I can't believe that its not already on Find A Grave. Thanks again for your help. Sharon

Mt Zion Cemetery
Hi, I created a memorial for Martin Waite at the Mt Zion Cemetery in Rockville, MO. I see that you also have a memorial there. The problem I'm having is that I can't find any information on the cemetery. His Death Certificate says Rockville MO but he lived and died in St Clair County where there is also a Mt Zion Cemetery and you too have added memorials for that cemetery. Do you have any information on Rockville? Thanks for you time. Sharon

Thank you for looking for her stone in South Bend Cemetery. Hopefully someone will either find her stone or find out if she has been relocated. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Transfer complete. You did it completely right.
Happy Researching, and hope you had a "Great" Thanksgiving.

RE: Greg Harvill
You are very welcome. I am glad that I could be of service. In case you want to add the area, it is Section 6, Row 3. Also, there was another Harvill next to him, William, whom I have added. I just found the obit and added it also. If you like I will be happy to transfer him over to you.
Best to you and yours, Bud.
