Maria Magdalena Spengler Coleman
Thanks so much for your entry to honor my 5th great grandmother (Memorial# 53644930). I believe that she's actually the daughter of Daniel Spengler, son of Baltzer. This is based on the Trinity Reformed Church records, a subset of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Church and Town Records, 1708-1985. Also, it's possible that she's actually buried in the Old Kreutz Creek cemetery the church where her 8 children were baptized. She must have died before 1803 when Valentine remarried. Would love to compare notes with you or others descended from her and Valentine!

Mr. Coleman apparently has 2 findagrave memorials. The other is #120358905, w/ his burial in St. Ambrose. It is managed by findagrave. He is buried alongside his wife. Will you please correct this. Thank you.

Going to Germany

I have looked everyplace for email exchanges that we made several years ago, however since being in college the volume of emails has required serious housekeeping over time and I have regretfully lost your contact info. Just a quick note to let you know that Ive finally taken a summer off from college and spending a couple weeks in Germany/Austria in June. If you would like, it would be exciting to finally come and visit afterwards if you are feeling up to a visit, (let me know). My email has changed, it is now updated on my page.

Lenox and Sarah
I was just wondering if you would happen to have any information on Lenox Knight Gooding's parents. Or any other immediate family. Lenox and Sarah are my great grandparents. Their son, Chester Arthur is My Dad's dad. We, {my sisters and I }, have been searching for a couple of years now and cannot come up with anything on Lenox's people. We have Sarah's for several generations back.

Thank you

Jacob Middaugh
After reviewing my tree and looking at dates I think the son "George" who is buried in Nashville Cemetery was the grandson of Jacob instead of the son. George was likely the son of the father of Jacob named Cornelius Middaugh.

I am the sister-in-law of Kenneth R. Middaugh b. 1931. He is very ill and I am adding information to his Find A Grave relatives. His father was Carl Middaugh b. 1901 d. 1969. #133093128. His father was John Lester Middaugh b. 1879 d 1917 #133094605. His father was James Cammeron Middaugh b/ 1834 d 1912. I believe he is buried in the Nashville Cemetery with John Lester but I don't have his Find A Grave # at this time. James Cammeron Middaugh was the son of Jacob Middaugh b. 1813 and Catherine Shroyer (Sawyer?). The Death Record of James says his mother's last name was Sawyer. Is it Shroyer? I would appreciate your tying these individuals together since you a a cousin of Ken's. My tree Brock/Chronister is on I hope you will look at it as I have been trying to complete the information for Ken and his wife and children. My email is I am Jeri Chronister Brock

Thank you for your information. I am in Pennsylvania on vacation. I visited the Starview Cemetery to see where Valentine Kohlman is buried. While I didn't see a stone, I was happy just to be there. I also went to the York County Heritage Trust in York, PA to see the organ that was donated by Barbara Schmidt Kohlman. It is a beautiful thing. I wish I would have been there on a Friday as opposed to a Thursday because they have a concert on Fridays. The curator told me it was moved to the Museum years ago because the church was getting a new organ. I also visited the beautiful church. My family is not Lutheran but I always find it interesting to read about what religious traditions my ancestors come from.

I hope you are well. I really enjoyed seeing the things that you have documented.
