Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching family history for some time. But I have had difficulty with headstone information, locating graves or finding multiple sites for the same person. Joining Find A Grave has allowed me to contribute the correct family information, locations and photos for some of the family members within my husbands family as well as mine. I recently moved to Redding, Ca. with my wonderful husband. If any corrections are needed for any of my posts please feel free to contact me.
I am sad to say due to recent changes I will no longer be able to go out and take headstone photos. I'm doing genealogy and will continue to add information regarding family. Thanks for visiting.

RE: Photos
Sorry but I have moved since you listed this request. I am now in Idaho and don't know anyone that could do it. I would suggest that you leave a request on each memorial you want pictures of.

Hello Ken
I am trying to get photos of 4 family members headstones/markers and inscriptions in a cemetery call Sparks Springs Cemetery in Jack County texas. The person who had put the information on Find A Grave is no longer active. So I am having problems finding somebody to take photos for me. Would you be interested in doing this for me or forwarding it to somebody that can? I would really appreciate it as I have looked for a long time for these members. Their names are:
George Washington Atwell 1844-6/2/1920
Nathaniel Roswell Atwell 1825-1889
Harriet Jane Atwell 1825-3/13/1889
Reverend James A. Clark 6/1/1853-7/4/1882 (May say John not James)

Thank you so very much

George Atwell
Thank you so much for adding the photo to George Atwell's page at FindAGrave!!! I really appreciate it. He is my 2-gr-grandfather, and I had thought about marking his stone as a Confederate soldier, but I see it's already marked.
May I have your permission to copy this photo to my family tree on
Thanks again.

RE: Pictures
As I recall, cemetery records indicated that both were interred in this location.

As for transfer, please provide your member number and the memorial numbers of the people you wish transferred.

RE: pictures
Greetings, I meant that yes I do volunteer to do pictures, but that I live in Minnesota. Too far for me. I would suggest you re-enter your request. First, take off your request, wait a week, and then request again. By doing that, those twenty volunteers will get an email of your request. Perhaps this time someone will do it! You can write a personal note with your request and tell how important it is to you. If that doesn't work, trying pleading!

I think Findagrave is overwhelmed with the volume of material coming its way. Cemeteries have various names they go by. I think in the case of the Norwegian Cemetery, it is close to a county border. Thus two counties claim it. You could try contacting Findagrave and asking them to remedy this duplication.

Good luck and best wishes.

RE: dupicates and transfers
The reason for the duplicates is the cemetery is listed twice!

RE: dupicates and transfers
I will delete the duplicates I made! I see we have two listings for Norwegian Cemetery which was my error.
