|I am particularly interested in the McDonalds, Lambs, Floyds, Newbys, and Burns from the Twiggs/Bleckley/Pulaski County areas. I am also interested in all the small, off-the-beaten-path cemeteries of middle Georgia.|

My sister and I are in Twiggs County looking for the Burns Family Cemetery. James T. Glover was our great-great grandfather. We've looked all afternoon up and down Hwy 96,and and on King Rd.
Thanks for any help you can give us.

Hi Lloyd, I have been trying to get a trip together with one of my brothers to come down to the Burns (rockwall) cemetery. Now I think its about to happen. I still haven't been able to contact the man about access to the property. Could you get me the info and phone # please. And when I plan to come there maybe you could meet us there. Thanks. You can contact me at 770-616-4688. Dennis Bennett

I want to thank you very much for taking these pictures and posting . This means a lot me Again thank you very very much
Thanks for taking the photo of Charles' marker. Nice to see he's remembered also with cut flowers -- looks like for Valentin's Day. I've never thought of 2/14 as a cemetery remembrance day before, possibly because we're usually buried under a foot or more of snow on that date.

Thank you for trying, I'm not sure of a stone location and it may not even be there anymore if there was one. I appreciate your time and effort in looking for me. All the best, Teresa

I'm sure Self Street is named after Henry Self. He was the 1st mayor of Warner Robins and married to my grandmother's sister, Annie Hardy Self.
I did not know Annie but I have been working on my grandfather's family and somehow found out my grandmother had 5 sisters. So I've been trying to locate all of them. My grandmother is Essie Lou Hardy Lyle. I have a newspaper article that my aunt gave me of the sisters having a reunion in Warner Robins before they died. I can email it to you.
Thanks again. I will look at the other pictures you posted.
I can't wait to share all of this with my Aunt Louise. She is the niece to Annie and remembers her. Maybe she will remember some of the others you took pictures of.
Talk to you later.
