Margaret Furlong, 53335364
I was wondering if we could connect regarding Margaret Furlong. My family records indicate that her maiden name is Rigney. It is documented that she is buried in the Holy Name plot of Rose Hill Cemetery, alongside Laflin, Flood, and Rigney relatives. My uncle noted this: "James Rigney's sister, 'Mag,' married Mike Furlong. Mag taught school near Alex, OK. Both George Clarence Laflin and Bill Stacy attended this school. When Aunt Mag Furlong retired, she lived with the sisters at St. Joseph's Academy in Chickasha, Oklahoma." Does this sound familiar or consistent with your records? I can't find any other Furlong, other than James, at Rose Hill. The passing date my uncle documented matches the one on FG. However, he noted that she was born on February 29th, which was a family joke when kids would inquire about how old she was. Also, her FG record is not linked to the James Furlong as your records note was her husband. My uncle has made mistakes regarding names of some relatives so it could have been James rather than Mike. I look forward to comparing notes with you.

Myrtle Dickson
Dear Mr. Turpin,

I just found your Find A Grave entry on Myrtle Dickson. Thanks.

She is my grandmother and I assume that she is your (half) great aunt. For your records, if you do not have the information, her full name was Georgia Myrtle Johnson Dickson.

Your photo attached to the file puzzles me. I have several pictures of her through the years, but do not have one that looks like the one posted on Find A Grave. Is there any chance that this may be a photo of one of her half sisters (nee Yocam)?

Please e-mail me if you would like me to send you a photo of Myrtle that I can verify to be accurate.

Bob, all of my pictures are on Find A Grave. I think I have photographed all the stones at Sugar Creek so my guess is that there is no stone.

Dooley Family
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the great photos at Judy Cemetery of the Dooley family. I am in the process of submitting an application with the Daughters of the American Revolution for Moses Reuben Dooley's grandfather; Moses Dooley.
Moses Rueben Dooley is my 4th great grandfather.
I didn't know how much you researched the family. do you have any idea where Harriett Barnes Dooley or Edisa Martin Dooley may be buried?
Best regards,

RE: Mislabling of sisters as spouses
You are totally correct. They are sisters and the pages we created reflect that. We created these in 2010 and the NWMGS created in 2014. I am not sure why the NW Mo Genelogical Society did not check Find A Grave website before they added all these. Since these are my wife's great grandaunts, we are very clear on the relationship of these two ladies. I have made a request to change it, Find A Grave is currently reviewing the request. I would request that NWMGS remove the files for these ladies since we have created file in 2010 for them.
