RE: Frank Zwiefelhoefer
Hi Dana,
Thank you for the information. I will look into it. I also see records that say he was born in Germany. That's why I'm curious. He is an ancestor of mine.

Who wrote this obituary? I'm curious as to why it says he was born in Austria.

RE: John R. Wynne
Hi ---- No., sorry, but I do not know much about this John R. Wynne. I did locate some of his family members in other Kansas counties.

Judith Hurt sent the birth and death dates (from a family Bible) for his daughter, Harriett Wynne Hamner, in 2014. Harriett (nee Wynne) Hamner is buried in Hope Cemetery at Ottawa in Franklin County, Kansas. This is a cemetery located next to the Marais des Cygnes River that has been flooded a number of times. Records and graves have been lost there, so the burial records are not complete for Hope Cemetery. It is possible that the wife of John R. Wynne was also buried there. ----

I wish you luck and am sorry that I cannot be of more help.

Transferring has not worked out well for me when I return to see "additions". Nothing like what I intended memorial page to look like.

Hey Dana

I do remember talking with you years ago about the Dorsey family.

Calvin Dorsey
HI Dana,

I am related to the Dorsey family as well but not as close to you and Calvin. Calvin's grandpa Sylvester Dorsey is my ggg grandpas brother.

I would love to know more how you are related and I have plenty to share as well.
Have a Great Day

Betschdorf Cemetery
I am indirectly connected to half the population of Oberbetschdorf (now part of Betschdorf) through a 19th century marriage with a Ketterer and have transcribed a LOT of Oberbetschdorf vital records for the 18th and 19th centuries. Have added some dates to the pages for this cemetery. Would love to hear from anyone researching Oberbetschdorf families.

March Tucker
Thank you for figuring out that there were two March Tuckers. I checked cemetery records and found where the older gentleman was buried and have entered him, however, I couldn't find any record of his wife, Elizabeth.
Sincerely, Catie and Will
