Bio Photo Hi,
I am Stephanie (Wright) Lanman and I was born in 1973 to Joseph and Ineta([VanNatter] Bradbury)Wright. I am married to Shawn and we have 4 beautiful children. I started looking for our ancestors a few years ago when my grandmother died and I realized I didnt know much about her side of our family. Since then I have added over 3,000 names to Shawn's and my family tree! I hope to start photographing memorial sites soon. I have small children
so time is limited right now! My surnames of interest are:DeVore,Pierce,Timmons, VanNatter,Bradbury,Wright, Tyree,Paxton,Copenhaver,Lanman,Dyer, and Remy

Forrest Bonshire
Hello Stephanie

You wrote a nice obit for Forrest. I knew him fairly well. Remarkable man. I knew him through my namesake, McKim Daingerfield. McKim introduced my mother to my father; that's how I got the name. McKim and my father met at Princeton around 1935 and shared rooms after graduation ('38) at the St. Moritz, Central Park south.
Anyway, Forrest took a genuine interest in my two youngest children (daughter and son), both of whom dance. They are in their 20s. McKim and Forrest used to regale us with stories from Forrest's dancing days. My favorite was when he performed in Monaco after Grace Kelly became Princess Grace. She and the Prince came out searching for Forrest, walked through some sort of lobby and finally found Forrest and McKim, drunk as lords and both on their lips draped over a divan upholstered in exotic silk fabric wondering how and when they'd get back to NYC. Neither one of them ever gave a satisfactory ending to the tale.

Forrest was a stalwart in his AA program. Everytime we visted, he pulled himself out with his two canes (he was paralyzed from the waist down, but incredibly strong in his arms and upper body) swung his legs and feet through the door, out to his car and went to attend his meetings. I had great admiration for his persistance and strength and good humor. McKim in the meantime mixed himself a pitcher of martinis and cuddled up with the NYT crossword. Together they were a delightful, never-ending and profound source of warmth and entertainment. Thanks again for your remembrance.

Orvil Wright
My mistake Stephanie, I did create this memorial. Old geezer error I guess. Anyway, Ronda is now shown as the son, not daughter. Thanks for pointing out the error.

Stephanie, sorry, but I had nothing to do with Orvil
's memorial. I think you might have made a mistake on the contributor number.

John Delbert DeVore #66426666
I have a headstone photo for Delbert DeVore, but am unable to post it on the memorial as the maximum number of photos allowed have already been posted. If you would like the photo on the memorial, you can removed the Beech Grove photo to create room. Let me know! He is buried with his mother, Kate Warfel, and I posted the photo on her memorial.
Many thanks,

RE: Velma Morris Remy
Well, that's a bummer! lol! Velma died young and I realized later that picture couldn't possibly be of her! We all lost so many family members from influenza. What horrible times those families indured! :(

Thanks for the note and keep in touch! :)

Velma Graves Remy
Hi Stephanie,

I hope you're the one that posted the pic of Velma and her husband. She is my grandmother's sister and I couldn't find her at the Mt. Zion cemeteries. Do you know which one? Are you related, and if so, would you mind posting the pic of her at her memorial when I get it set up?

I have no pictures of her or her father George Franklin as most of the pictures were lost in a fire.

Any pics or info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :)

P.S. My grandmother was Dora Morris Graves, married Lane Otis Graves. They are buried at the Bell Cemetery in Allensville.
