My name is Linda, |
My husband and I are researching our families,
His is the Snelling, McGahan, Gocke, & Mueller.
Mine is Seamans, Dunkeson, Greer and Wicker.
We are both retired and enjoy taking photo's so we volunteer here.
If I have posted a photo of your family member's stone and you want to use it in your tree. Please feel free to do so. Just do something forward for someone else. I believe that's why FAG added this area when they created this web page. There are 5 free slots to post a personal photo, stone, obituary, B/D certificates or just add an up-dated photo, before anyone has to pay a single penny. You will not get that anywhere else. That makes for a really nice tribute to those who have passed own, and a nice gift to the researchers who are looking for family information. I'm happy I found this site and thank God each day for the fine folks who seek out the data and take time to create the memorials. I've enjoyed working with almost all of them. As long as we can we will volunteer here and give freely of our time, equipment and photo's. This is a fine place to give back to those who have helped us in our research, and pray it's a long voyage.
Sun, Rain, Wind & Ice changes things, and technology aids us. If you get a better visual/readable photo than mind please post it. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush!

Do you know anything about this person? I tried digging on ancestry and family search and found nothing. But since she's buried in the same section as Earl Autry I thought she might be from my branch of Autry's out of Ohio County Kentucky. Thank you for your time. Karen Craig McAndrew

Thank you for nice family photo of Thomas & Martha Coleman. That was kind of you to share it.

You listed his birthday wrong. And his profile was posted in 2009. His mother is a friend of mine.

Records for Tommy Seaman are at Greenlawn Cemetery on River Blvd. in Bakersfield, CA. I have heard of them having records for someone but the burial did not actually take place there, so you may want to call them to confirm.

Hi again. No didn't want to add a note of anything. I may go back and leave her some flowers in a moment. I was just pleasantly surprised to see her memorial. I have often thought of her and I had lost track of her once I married and moved away. Thank you for managing the memorials that you do. Pat

Linda, are you by any chance related to Avo? She used to babysit me and my siblings. I also took art classes from her. I have fond memories of her loading up all of the kids she babysat in a stroller and we all held hands and walked all over Jacksonville where we all lived.
Thanks for taking the time to photograph this marker! I really appreciate it!

Linda, you attached the wrong picture to this memorial. Check it out! Merry Christmas to you and Don!
|Bryce Self||RE: Elmira Watson|
Her full name was Elmira Holdridge HIPP, named after her father Holdridge Hipp (wife Virginia Kathryn Sawyer). Because his name is so unusual it appears sometimes as Houloitch or Holdrick in transcribing old handwriting. Her brother Jacob (or John) Wesley Hipp married 1884 to Susan J. Roland, and sister Virginia Catherine "Ginny" Hipp married 1883 Thomas Bartow Williams. Her older half-sister Henrietta married 1872 William Hutchinson in Ripley, Lauderdale, TN. Holdridge Hipp has a sister Lucinda who married Alvin C. Patterson and are both buried at Mount Pleasant. All these fine folk are found in the Greenridge community of Scott county. the historical society there has published a very nice series of kocal census records with annotations and histories for each family there.

Oh my Gosh Linda, I really forgot. And I moved ten days ago and have not yet uncovered all the pictures.
I hate I have failed you this way. I am still straightening/going through things and giving as much to Good Will as I can manage.
Those pictures WILL NOT be part of that, you can bet.
I found one box the other day. I do know the others are packed in a plastic storage box in their separate archival boxes. As soon as I get a few minutes (provided I can get too the box I think they are in) I'll see what I can do.
