Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began researching my ancestry in 1976 at the age of 23. I was extremely lucky to still have many living grandparents, great aunts and uncles whom shared so much information, photo's, and stories with me. They have filled my life with the love of searching for more..."Family Ties are Precious Bonds that passing Time endures..." from poem by Elizabeth M. Gerus

NOTE: You have my permission to use any photo I've taken and posted on FAG in your own family research. A note of credit would be appreciated, but not necessary. (only exception please don't copy my photo's & put them on other FAG memorials...request and I'll re-post the photo for you) I'm photographing to share and for others to use...

RE: Wahl
Thank you thank you so much! This helps. I still don't know what to make of Pearl if there were no other Thompsons on board.

Many thanks again,

Edith Elizabeth Thompson Wahl

I'm trying to find out about my great-grandmother, Edith Elizabeth Thompson Wahl. She came to the US as a widow with her daughter Pearl, and married Edward Vexel Wahl must have been 1988 or so. My grandmother, Dorothy Wahl was born in 1890 in Eau Claire and was 2 or so when her mother died.

I'm trying to find out more about Edith Elizabeth, but for starters knowing when she died and where she is buried would help.

Oddly I can't find any transit records or anything else about her. Her husband, Thompson, was killed in England in a carriage accident, and she came to the US to be near her sister.

Can you help? Many thanks!

I believe that Tryphena "Minnie" Trew Crossman was born in 1860 and was born in Canada. The tombstone is not very clear to me but appears to read 1860, which would be correct. This would be Lakeview Cemetery. Thanks! Bev Trew Palmer, Indiana, USA.

RE: Ezekial Johnson or Thayer
Hi Sue,
I am having no luck finding this young man under Johnson or Thayer except for those two census you found Mary Miles in...I cannot locate a grave for him either...any ideas? Sorry this is so side tracked..which happen often when you are working on 10 trees! lol

Hi Sue - I've edited my memorial so you can place your photos on the earlier memorial now.

Eau Claire Newspapers
Thank you for all you do on Find a Grave. You have a lot of memorials from the Eau Claire, Wisconsin on here. You may already know this, but almost all Eau Claire older newspapers are available for search with the Access Newspaper archive resource provided with a Wisconsin library card. I've been finding a lot of genalogical and other information on Eau Claire people through that. It'd be a great resource to you if you'd ever want to update the memorial pages you control. I'm using it constantly to update Pierce County and related peoples pages. - Dan Geister River Falls
