I have been doing my family's genealogy since 1979 and have been very lucky finding and proving thousands of people. Found FAG in 2009 and hope to add many graves as I find time and many more after retiring in 2018.|
Always looking for Baker, Batchelor, Crowell, Jackson, Kreutz, Nesslar, Nickerson, Strandt, Tappen, Thacher, Whelden, and others.
For Thacher see:

|Carol Hale||Rev Anthony Thatcher (1588-1677)|
I m amazed how much information I gained about an, unknown until now, ancestor Anthony Thatcher. Your Find A Grave posting has given me more places to visit and leads to search out...
Thank you for searching out, and posting all this information!! You are definitely a public servant and detective!!!
|GenieQueen||Emily Eldridge Thacher|
Thanks for the hint - I knew she existed (my grandfather, Sam Thacher, was her brother) but there is no official record of her burial. Since her death certificate says "Old Cemetery" Yarmouthport, and her parents are buried there, I will add her. Are you related?
|Rejeana||Bertha Mae Faubion Zinn|
Thank you for sending the Edit saying that Aunt Bertha was adopted by John Henry Tappen after his marriage to Effie Julie Ann Webster Smith, which, according to the bio on his memorial page, was in 1911, nine years before Bertha's birth.
Her father and mother lived until 1975 and 1965, respectively, so I'm confused why an adoption would've taken place. She was listed with Walter and Anna in the 1930 and 1940 censuses. Additionally, she never mentioned such adoption in all the visits we had, which were many.
Perhaps it was something not talked about? Do you have documentation?
Feel free to reply using the email address you used to send the Edit.

|Sandra Lennox||Sam Morton|
The only information that I could find on Sam
Morton, son of John T. Morton and Lydia (Finney):
Birth Nov. 15, 1869 Plymouth
Names of parents: John T. & Lydia
Residence of parents: Plymouth
Occupation of father: Mariner
Place of birth father: Plymouth
Place of birth mother: Plymouth
I found that information on familysearch.
It may not be Sam's birth record, I am just
assuming it is.
I am thinking that Sam died young, that is
why they are showing his photo as a child.
I did not find a death record or a place of
burial for Sam.
Also, THANK YOU for adding the photo of John
to my memorial.
|Jo Peterson||Antony Thacher's rock|
I see the picture of the rock with Antony Thacher's name on it on his page. Can you tell me where it is?
|Theron Rogers||Evans Jackson|
My memorial is a cenotaph (a marker referencing a burial at another location). I added a bio note and will ask admin to label it as a cenotaph. Thanks for the information.
|RoseMary Hyatt||RE: Gainesville Tornado 1936|
Thank you so much for the reply. I had a name of Louisa Wilson but no other information. Seems that she wasn't heard from after the tornado
