I've been researching my tree for over 20 years and have over 6K people in my tree. I still have a few brick walls though. I'm hoping by sharing I can help others.|
I'm from Western NY and am retired.
I'd like to apologize for the bad quality of SOME of my photos. I chose to photograph the flat stones that are slowly sinking before they disappear altogether. I do the best I can. I bring a broom with me to sweep off the dry grass, but the broom gets so full of straw that it doesn't always work well. I will do the best I can and hopefully photograph as many flat stones as I can before they sink and be forever forgotten. Sad.
My main branches are:
HARTZELL, ANSELL, BALSLEY, GOODWIN. All from Somerset and Fayette Counties PA and Preston Co., WV.
All my photos may be used anywhere you like. They are not copyrighted and if it helps others, than please share. That's what genealogy is, sharing.
Weather is getting nasty here. I won't be able to photograph much longer... but fear not, I'll be back in the spring.

Thank you for contacting me regarding your relative Jozef Wojtowicz, Unfortunately I am not the person who posted this memorial. From what I can see there is no way to contact, Rootcellar who is the person who posted the memorial for Jozef. Best of luck in your search.

Please transfer this memorial of my cousin to me, Murphy Miller, 47623203. Thanks.

Hello again Barbara, I hope you can get back out in the field and do what you enjoy. Bless you Ms. Goss. I just added young Carl Charlie Rackl, another marker buried. I guess they want to charge, perpetual care means cut the grass. I guess what should I expect, my relatives paid $32. for 200 sq. ft. lots in 1888. Even with exchange rate, those dollars are long gone.

Hi Barbara. I was looking for other Rackl and Schrott family members and saw your listing for Frank E. Rackl, my great uncle. If you look at his fathers Find A Grave listing, that's me digging up the stone, putting gravel under and replacing. I also did Margaret, William, and 5 Charles Schrott members. What's wrong with the soil the UGaF, the schrott markers were a foot below grade, after finding one you kind of figure where the others are at. It is not right that anyone's grave marker sinks into eternity. Plus all of the large stones that have fallen and they just cut around, pitiful. I am in Cleveland where my Grandma Katherine Rackl Murphy moved too. We are coming back to Buffalo in the fall, I will remove grass around Frank Rackl and rephotograph.
Thanks again for trying. U are correct in : am in Find A Grave with account and I have tried to contact many times with no answer , only help I have gotten has been u. So thanks for all your hard work

Good Morning Barbara, I know it has been sometime now. I did get Florence Gruber's grave thank you. However, I am still unable to get my grandfathers Frank Gruber.
If you could work your magic I would appreciate it. Since I am unable to get ahold of him myself.

Glad to hear you have them. I was engrossed (still am) in another branch, Domedions. They seem to be mostly in United German & French with some in Forest Lawn and a few scattered other places. About half are direct ancestors, the others I think are descended from a brother.
This is similar with the Baumlers. Lots of members but not all direct relatives. I was gathering some information about Edward's family when I noticed I confused his brother Albert with another Albert. I do not know where my great uncle Albert is buried but it is not the one in Mount Calvary. So I have been re-checking some of my other great aunts & uncles to be sure I have the right ones. There are several Williams, Florences and even Carolines.
I will be in touch, and thanks again for the work you do.
It's no problem! I found some of the photo request for that cemetery on BillionGraves so I uploaded hers along with others to get the number of request down on Find a Grave.

I wanted to thank you for cleaning the headstone and posting a picture of my great uncle Edward Baumler (#117976384) and his wife Elsie (nee Stutter). I know you do not manage these memorials, but I was wondering if you would mind if I added 2 pictures I took today (6/14/2016) to each. I cleared of a little more with my hands. Still not what I would like. Next time I should bring a shovel.

Barbara Thanks so MUCH !
Yes, I think I or you tried to contact hime for the grave transfer before. No luck.
I'll try again and see if that gets me anywhere.
Again thank you so much for your help.
I never posted my grandparent graves and then one day I was searching for someone else and they popped up to my surprise.
I adent to their graves. I even had Mt Calvary lift my grandmothers headstone due to its sinking. I always clean up the one next to my grandfather as well now. Cause it has looked so unkept and sad.
Have wonderful weekend.
